Black on Black

As most of you know, last week my blog was temporarily deactivated by my web host. They could tell me why it was shut down but couldn’t tell me how to fix the problem(s). So it’s been a bit of a nightmare trying to troubleshoot while not really knowing what it is that I’m trying to fix! And to make matters worse, my web designer is no longer in business. The good news is that I am back up & running in the meantime. But I have, however, decided to make a few changes here on the blog. As of now, I am going to be discontinuing the weekly linkups indefinitely. I am also going to be keeping less of a structured schedule here on the blog. Instead of posting on M/W/F’s, I am going to be posting when I have posts ready. I am looking forward to being excited to post because I want to and not because I have to. Not that I ever HAD to, but you know what I mean. I may even start doing some micro-blogging on my social media accounts. Who knows. But for now I am excited at the possibilities and am looking forward to what 2016 will bring. It’s not too late to make resolutions is it? =)

P.S. Be sure and follow along via Bloglovin’ or you can sign up for email subscribe over there in the top right hand sidebar so you won’t miss new posts! You can also always find me on Instagram and Facebook.

Six Ways to Wear

I never used to be a fan of black jeans and now I seem to reach for them before my regular blue jeans. I especially LOVE the fit of the ones I am wearing here and unfortunately they are from Stylemint which is no longer in business. They are super stretchy and so comfortable. I’m bummed actually because I wish I could buy more! Don’t you hate when that happens?!?! Today I am teaming up with my girls to share six winter denim looks to keep you inspired to remix your jeans this season. I pretty much have a winter uniform of a white tee, jeans and a cardigan so I am loving all of these new ideas! Be sure and check out Kacie, Jackie, Megan, Tiffany and Alex‘s blogs for full details on their looks.

Auguste Polka Dot Dress

I wore this dress for girls night out with my besties to celebrate the December birthdays. You may have seen a sneak peek of it here. I fell in LOVE with it immediately when I saw it online and then the funny thing is…I started following the brand on Instagram and they had styled this dress with the exact same belt! Great minds think alike, I tell ya. Or it may be that this was just the most popular belt this season. LOL.

P.S. Unfortunately my site is having major issues due to a plugin on my blog. Until I can figure out the culprit, the weekly linkup is on hold. Sorry for the inconvenience! =(

I’m going through that stage again where I can not stand the length of my hair! I’ve started taking a multi-vitamin and Biotin again even though the bottle basically tells you it’s not proven to stimulate hair growth. Although now that I think about it, I remember someone on social media saying it caused them to start having more facial hair! EEEK! I just literally remembered that as I was typing. Hmmm….maybe I should just stick to the multi-vitamin!

Justfab Suede Fringe Booties

I am slightly obsessed with all things chestnut/camel suede at the moment. Throw in a little fringe and it’s all over. I shared a few of my favorite things on Instagram a few weeks ago…one of them being these camel Justfab fringe booties. Not only are they gorgeous but they are super comfortable too! Oh, and they also come in black. Can someone please convince me that I don’t need them too? Because right now I have them sitting in my cart and I REALLY want to push “checkout”!
