look alikes

since i can remember, people have always said that i look like someone. when i started high school, the first thing i got was a nickname (little fran). i had no idea who she was (i still don’t). as i got older (and dyed my hair dark brown) more and more people told me i looked like winona ryder.

then in my twenties, i was told on numerous occasions that i looked like jillian barberie reynolds. i lived in la for about a year when i moved back from nyc and one of my FAVORITE shows was good day la (jillian is one of the hosts). i miss that show.

now in my thirties, i was just told by this blogger that i look like janel moloney. i had no idea who she was (i never watched the west wing…i am a reality show junkie). my husband agrees…do you? she does wear my signature lip color…ha ha. now if only i had her eye color!

this is me now (with some retouching to cover the dark circles and bags, of course). i can see a small resemblance to each of them. i think it is the eyebrow shape and cheekbones. isn’t it funny how people perceive you? the most random person anyone ever said i looked like was helen hunt. that one i don’t see. what do you think? who do people say YOU look like??? post a link to your blog in the comments so i can see!

    Ok I have never heard of this Janel lady either but I definitely see the resemblance. It’s the eyes and cheekbones I think. I want both of those things of yours. 😉

    I don’t think you look like Winona, if anything you look like Janel (I didn’t know who she was either)…lol, you’re more beautiful than all of them…you have eep!

    People always say I look like someone they know!!! Every one from Thandi Newton (Crash), Kimora Lee Simmons (Baby Phat), Zoey Saldana (Avatar) and Alicia Keys

    Check me out at my blog – I think I look like NONE of these women – LOL – although – I think they are all stunning and talented – so I absolutely take it as a big ole’ compliment 🙂
