on saturday evening, we celebrated one of my best friends birthdays at wine steals in cardiff. her husband planned a surprise party so i made sure to catch a pic of her entrance (top photo). it was really sweet and we all teared up a bit when she came in because she was truly surprised. it was a really great time catching up with my girls even though three of my besties weren’t able to make it =( i have been best friends with these girls since high school and cannot imagine my life without them. i’ve known caroline since pop warner cheerleading in middle school if you can believe that!

this  morning we got up early and got donuts from my FAVE donut shop (also in cardiff) called VG’s. they have THE best donuts in the world. then my parents came over and we celebrated my dads birthday. the weather turned out better than expected so we got to spend the day outside! it was a nice weekend.

p.s. sorry i didn’t get any better outfit pics for you…i was in a mad rush trying to get ready in time for the party so this is it. got a lot of compliments on my tucker for target dress and everyone thought i was crazy waiting up until 1am to buy it from target.com no less. =) i wore my asos belt,jessica simpson wedges, helen ficalora inital charm necklace and h&m ring.
