i am wearing: gingham shirt from target, sailor shorts from jcrew, jessica simpson wedges, h&m floppy hat and my michael kors watch. the last pic was an ad in my glamour magazine and i took a pic of it with my iphone…and now i can’t for the life of me remember what company it was for!

ok…the last pic isn’t me BUT it was my inspiration to try these shorts again. i didn’t like them the first time and i’m still not in love with them the second time around. i know i am a mom and all but i feel like they look like “mom shorts”…you know…kinda like “mom jeans“. i really want to love them though =) who knows…maybe the third time will be the charm (or is it “a” charm)?!?!

p.s. no one told me that after having a baby you forget everything. i am constantly at a loss for words. and then my mom reminded me that if you make me mad, i NEVER forget. ha ha

    those aren’t mom shorts at all, just because they’re high waisted! I think the high waist makes them tres chic. I’m wearing high waisted “mom” shorts in my OOTD post today actually!

    Love the outfit, and those are definitely NOT mom shorts! The last picture, from the magazine is White House Black Market. I actually did a post on my blog not too long ago with the pic. Love it!

    I love them & I would totally wear them. (and I’m not even a Mom!!) I love sailor shorts & all things nautical. I’m definitely into the relaxed sailor-y look 🙂 Express always has cute shorts too
