i have been working on my office/happy room (as i like to call it) for some time now. my husband has his office and so i made the other spare room into a room just for me! i have been pinning ideas on pinterest for inspiration but i am having a hard time pulling it all together. right now it is all unmatching but not in that cute “on purpose” unmatching way. here are a few of my favorite things that have made their way into my happy room!

thanks to pinterest, this print is now mine. it makes me smile.

a magnetic board that i have had FOREVER. it was a light green color but i painted it a light robin blue to match the picture above. i am going to use it as my new inspiration board.

i love q&a books and have quite a collection of quirky conversation starters. i also love inspirational books. these are just a few of my faves. i think one of the best gifts you can give are books with a personal note written inside. this is a book i would LOVE to add to my collection…hilarious.

my madonna nesting dolls. you know you are jealous. admit it.

i lived in both NYC and LA and these pillows remind me of all of the fun times i had! one of my BFF’s in NYC (vivian…i miss you) had the NYC pillow and i LOVED it. my husband bought me one and my mom got me the other. i love love love them.
