alien fingers

whenever i paint my nails a fun new color i tend to use my hands more…kinda like the girls on the price is right…you know…showcasing everything i touch. like my new clear lipliner! i watched the vlog post about it over on grit & glamour (a FAB blog, btw) and KNEW i had to give it a try! if you read this post, then you know that i am a lipliner and lipstick kinda girl. so far i have only tried it with my normal nude lipstick and i was really impressed with how smooth it was. some of the drugstore brands tend to be a little drier so lipliner is one of the cosmetic items i like to splurge on. i can’t wait to try it with one of my brighter lipsticks! but back to my mani…this green color is “daffy dill” by nicole by opi. i’m thinking it should have been called “granny apple green” or maybe even “exorcist split pea”??? my mom said it made me look like i had alien fingers. =) i topped it off with some glitter polish called “make u smile” (also by nicole by opi) from the justin bieber line. yes, i now own TWO bottles of the justin bieber polish!

    I’m the same way with my nails.. when they look good, you kinda feel pretty no matter what you’re wearing!

    I gesture a lot more too when my nails are painted – which isn’t very often anymore. Maybe I’ll paint mine tonight when the girls are in bed. I like the fun color but I’m a little confused as to why Justin Bieber has fingernail polish. Hee hee!
