apparently formspring hasn’t been working properly because i just got an email yesterday that said i had six questions waiting for me! so so so sorry if i haven’t answered your question yet, but i’m working on it! jess from the balanced libra asks:

“what are your top five MUST-HAVE polishes”?

1. opi-“dulce de leche”: this is my absolute all time favorite nail polish ever. it is a perfect nude/pink color. i’ve been wearing it for YEARS. i usually always have it on my toes since it pretty much goes with all of my cray-zay mani’s. =)

2. sally hansen complete salon manicure-“pat on the black”: i NEVER used to wear dark polish and somehow this one has become one of my favorites. it is great for glamming up your hands. it’s a very deep burgundy/purple/almost black.

3. revlon-“minted”: i originally bought this polish for st pattys day but it quickly became one of my go-to polishes for spring.

4. essie-“nice is nice”: i won this one in a giveaway. it’s another great polish that i wore all spring and will continue through summer for sure! this one’s my husband’s favorite. =)

5. sally hansen xtreme wear-“sun kissed”: surprisingly orange has been my favorite color all season…for clothes, nail polish, bags….you name it! this color really pops and looks like candy on your nails. and now that i’m seeing it next to essie’s “nice is nice” above…i’ve got a fresh new mani idea! =)

    Yay – I just bought Sun Kissed at your recommendation & am wearing it right now…love it! One of my new favorites, too (and I also have Dulche De Leche – perfect neutral)!! Great picks!

    Gosh, I can’t pick my favorite polishes. I’m actually working my way through wearing/blogging all of my polishes on Saturdays on my blog. I’m finding some that I forgot all about that I love. I have so many bottles.

    great colors. i’m obsessed with opi because it wears well/long and i’m rough on my nails. i’ve wanted to try essie but how do you find it wears?

    LOVE all these…I love Essie’s Nice is Nice…I bought it on a whim, and it has become one of my fave’s too! I have a great orange that I love as well, so I too think a mani with these too would be FAB!…and Pat on the Black..LOVE! Great choices..thanks for sharing!

    Dulce de Leche is in my TOP FIVE too! I still need a mint color, I am loving it! And I am way too obsessed with prurple/black and brown/black. Dark colors are always a fav!
