“cliques” – image via. i’d like to think i am a little bit of all of them =)

this weeks FBFF topic is “labels”. here are my responses:

1. As a someone who writes/blogs about fashion, have you placed yourself into some sort of blogging category? well, i started out as sort of a “mommy blogger” and it kind of evolved into what it is now. i would now categorize my blog as more of a fashion and lifestyle blog though, for sure.

2. What keeps you from or encourages you to label yourself as a certain kind of blogger? i don’t want to limit myself by saying i am only a fashion blogger. this is my blog after all. i talk about what i want even when i know it is not what drives the most traffic.

3. When picking blogs to read and follow are you drawn to ones that indicate a certain group or way of thinking/being? no, i read all types of blogs. some i visit for their writing, some for their style and some for their tips/advice. i follow blogs that are written by women (and men) of all ages and backgrounds/beliefs.

4. Do you think there are benefits in labeling yourself or others? the only benefit i can see would be if you are marketing a product, i guess.

5. Agree or Disagree – We’re all just people; we don’t need all the labels. agreed-i also like to think that i can’t be labeled by just one word.

be sure and stop by modlychic to see what everyone else had to say.

Completely agree that it seems impossible to have only one label – this poses problems and certainly puts into question why we use such labels if it doesn’t make it easy? Great post 🙂

I completely agree — your blog is what you make it, no matter what category you file it under in Bloglovin’! (Lovin’ your blog, btw!)
