some of the parade participants…we want one of these mules now!

we live in a small rural community and every year they shut down the main road and everyone in town decorates their tractors, golf carts, bikes, strollers, goats…you name it and we have a parade! then everyone walks over to the local fire station and we have a big BBQ! after the bbq we came back to the house and played bocce ball for HOURS. it was such a fun weekend. i had a much cuter outfit planned but when i walked outside and it was 90+ degrees outside…i went for comfort (and a corona light w/ lime). but the most exciting thing about this post is that my husband FINALLY let me post his pic on my blog! he is the one with the red, white & blue hat on in the 4h pic…ha ha. he’s the one in the top pic.

    Aw, cute couple! Good job, hubby!! We love Bocce ball & used to play that all the time with my family in Oregon. Glad you had a great Fourth! 🙂

    awwww you guys are such a cute couple. I have never played real Bocce Ball only on the Wii but I love it on the game.. LOL
