i am wearing: f21 tunic, urban outfitters scalloped shorts, nordstrom necklace, thrifted belt, jessica simpson wedges, f21 and nordstrom bracelets, ring i found YEARS ago and do i really have to list the watch? ha ha! (#bloggerstaple oh, wait…i’m not on twitter)

i have to admit, i saw this top on the BeAuTiFuL chloe and HAD to have it. she is petite enough to wear it as a dress…lucky girl. i really need to find a new segue other than…in other news. but in other news…I’M GOING TO THE BLOGHER CONFERENCE (friday only). and i am freaking out! i am so nervous. mostly because i have no idea what to expect and am dying to meet some of my favorite bloggers (here, here and here) who i know are going to be there. yet, i am terrified to introduce myself. thankfully trina introduced me (via twitter) to summer so now i at least have a partner in crime to walk around with! YAY! i have NO idea what to wear and the worst part is that i don’t get my hair done until the day after so i have to meet & greet with my ombre hair. and by ombre i mean grey roots and blonde tips. not the look i am going for! argghhhh…i’m so nervous! do you guys have any tips for me??? what do i wear??? hellllppppp! =)

    I love the outfit you are wearing here (shorts and tunic are so perfect together)… I’m so so happy that you are going to BlogHer and that you will meet all the lovely bloggers,… I’d probably wear a simple dress with killer heels and some accesories (can’t go wrong with that)! Can’t wait to hear how it all went 🙂

    I am so excited for you – it is going to be great! Kinda’ jealous I can’t meet you face-to-face, though! I’m totally freaking out about the FABB conference in NYC next month, too…don’t know a single person who’s going and I’m afraid I’ll be all alone! 🙁 Can’t wait to hear all about it when you get back…oh, and I love those shorts on you, btw.

    It would be hard to decide what to wear to this type of conference–where you can count on everyone being stylish. But I don’t think you have much to worry about. Wear your favorite outfit, whatever it is, because you always gain confidence when you wear your favorite outfit!

    I LOVE the scalloped shorts, btw!

    I’m literally wearing shorts & a tunic right now as well (this with a black belt & black shorts) – it is the perfect summer outfit. But, mine would have been 10x with those amazing scalloped shorts – love them.

    Wear something that you feel super comfortable and confident in – it’s hard enough to worry about networking let alone trying to make sure your outfit isn’t going to end up malfunctioning. Every outfit you wear is amazing so don’t fret plus once someone gets to talking with you, they stop looking at the outfit and pay more attention to the person (at least if they are polite!).

    Don’t be nervous! I am sure you will love it. As for the outfit, I would go with layers so that if the conference is cold you don’t freeze!
