this week for FBFF we are sharing our five favorite fall trends. here are mine:

1. the maxi dress – i am not done with the maxi dress yet and this GORGEOUS oriental print is SO calling my name. like seriously…i may lose sleep over this one. if they had it in my size, it would have to come live in my closet!

2. the floppy hat – i have two straw floppy hats that i wore all summer but now i want to add a felt floppy hat to my wardrobe for fall.

3. the python trend – i’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that i see a “rattlesnake” print something rather in my future. i already did the faux rattlesnake mani but i definitely need some snake print in my closet this fall.

4. lace – i love this sweater. it is just the right amount of lace. so pretty and feminine with a touch of military…no? maybe i made that up. either way, i want it and can’t wait to wear more lace this season.

5. faux leather – i never thought i would say this but i would like a pair of leather pants, shorts or skirt to find their way into my closet. maybe a pair of faux leather jeggings with a chunky cable knit sweater? i wouldn’t mind owning this quilted faux leather skirt either. who knows…i may even bust out my leather blazer looking-ish jacket that i’ve had for about 15 years. in fact…i am on my way to my closet now to see if i kept that thing….hmmm.

    LOVE your favorites!
    As soon as I saw the sweater, I thought of this t-shirt that I can’t wait to buy. I’m totally getting it soon, but it’s affordable and really goes with the lace trend. It’s also similar with the black over cream. Thought you might like to check it out!

    Hehe, I love the comment about the leather pants. I also want one of those! Or a pencil skirt. it is so funny how we see them as fashion faux pas at some point and then suddenly they are back in style for us. Fashion is a science 🙂

    I think the maxi dress looks lovely. I like the autumnal colours and always like an asymmetrical hemline! I like the top as well -slightly unusual with the lace epaulets

    Love your picks! I’m definitely feeling the python print and of course leather. A leather skirt was one of my picks as well but I would be more than happy to have a pair of leather pants!

    I love every single one of your picks – that maxi though is something else. I’m also not over my maxi obsession but what I love about this one is its slight variation with how it goes shorter in length on one side. I say persevere until you find your size and it would look fantastic on you 🙂
