i am wearing: omb! and make u smile, both by nicole by OPI.

OPI is coming out with a muppets collection and i was trying to duplicate “gettin’ miss piggy with it“. i think if i would have put a coat of omb! on top of the glitter polish…it would have looked more accurate. clearly i have put a lot of thought into this manicure…lol. after the week i’ve had, i was trying to do a happy mani and what’s happier than miss piggy? if you follow me on twitter then you know that yesterday my puppy “jakey” got stung by a bee. initially i thought he had been bit by a rattlesnake because he laid down and went completely limp and couldn’t move at all. and his eyes were closing. i really thought he was going to die. it was awful. i had to hurry and get the baby in the car and then carry a 50lb dog to our car and rush to an emergency animal hospital. apparently he is EXTREMELY allergic to bees and went into anaphylactic shock. so now i am a nervous wreck worrying about him whenever he is in the yard. i mean we have bees EVERYWHERE. at least now we have an epipen in case he gets stung again.

p.s. sorry to my twitter followers who have heard this whole story already =( but at least i have a happy mani for you =)

    Aww, so glad the puppy is okay now…how scary! I freak out when my cat even throws up, so I can’t imagine going thru that!! Love the mani, too – might try to do this with my Sally Hansen gold glitter polish 🙂

    so so sorry to hear about you puppy!! I would have went into panic mode…it’s terrible when something is wrong with your babe.
    I do love the sparkle though! I have been looking for a big sparkle polish like that.

    Glad to hear you puppy is doing good! I’m sure it was an awful experience (for him and you). This mani is so pretty. Love the red and I recently picked up a similar topcoat from Sally Hansen that I am now obsessed with! Looks great!

    I can’t believe that jakey has an epi pen – poor baby. I’d be a nervous wreck too!

    I owe it to you and your inspirational mani blog posts that I have STOPPED biting my nails!!! I’m kicking around an idea of writing a post about this. It’s been extremely difficult me to kick the habit after x amount of years. But, I wanted to paint my nails fun and pretty. I absolutely adore this sparkly color!! Sorry to hear about your puppy’s bee sting. That’s awful.
