after i saw this manicure, i knew i had to have a matte black polish so i bought “dovima” by zoya (in pics above). at first i was a little disappointed because i was expecting more of a chalkboard black and it is more of a charcoal with a silver shimmer. but now it’s become one of my fall favorites. it also looks like two completely different polishes with/without a topcoat. the first three are without and the last one is with a topcoat. of course i had to get out the nail stamp kit and add the silver stripes…but this time i think i like the “before” nails better!

    I love it and the stripes, too! I have a charcoal polish like this…am wondering if I could just add my Essie matte top coat and come up with the same look? Might have to try it today! 🙂

    I love the black manicure, I just did it yesterday! I used Orly Vinyl, and used Essie Matte topcot, and it worked. I love yours! What silver did you stamp with? Mine is not strong enough.

    Love Love this color. I think black polish can some times come across a bit harsh, but with the little hints of glitter, this color is great! I might have to pick it up (not that I need any more polish!)
