i am wearing: blue ruffle dress from modcloth (last worn here), f21 scarf as a belt, nordstrom t-strap sandals, michael kors watch and eep initial necklace c/o sheyna jewelry.

i’ve worn this dress many times but both my mom and husband asked me when i got it…apparently adding the scarf gave it a whole new look! but i am wearing my new sheyna “eep” initial necklace (“eep” is my nickname for my son). sheyna is an online jewelry store where you can create custom jewelry using an easy drag and drop feature to see what your piece will look like before you purchase it. this is so much fun because you can create as many items as you like and publish them so you can then send the link to your significant other for gift ideas (oh, just me?). they also have an amazing selection of ready to wear designs that are gorgeous as well. i was swooning over these fabulous green onyx drop earrings but couldn’t pass up the sentimental initial necklace! i have a similar necklace but the charms just stack up on top of each other so you can never see what they are. my new “eep” necklace has each initial soldered in place so you can always read it! my sons birthstone is a sapphire so we added the blue chalcedony stone to make it even more special. i love my new necklace. oh….one thing i do want to mention though is if you order a custom piece, it does take approx 28 days for your order to ship so if it is for a special occasion, make sure you order with that time frame in mind! but on a positive note…the shipping is free! =)

p.s. husband…i hope you are paying attention because i want the “mom” necklace for mothers day next year! oh and those gorgeous emerald earrings too. mmmmkthanks. =)

    Well I’m just a massive of fan of everything you’re rockin’ today! That dress made me go ‘wow’ (as did that lovely face shot of yours – you really are a stunner). I have wanted a name necklace for-EVER and never found the right design etc so am going to have to check this online store out! Your so good for sharing it. That necklace is a gorgeous idea as now you always have eep close to your heart (& hey to ur husband – ill back you up in reminding him of the necklace you want for ‘mums’ day next year) 🙂
