date night

i am wearing: zara sequin skirt, nordstrom rack sweater, steve madden pumps, helen ficalora charm necklace, michael kors watch and a vintage ring.

i finally got to wear my sequin skirt!!! we rented a limo and had dinner at burlap for “date night” with some friends on saturday night. everything would have been great except for that our limo let us know last minute that they would not be able to make our pick up time. so we ended up with a limo that was so ghetto it had elvis stickers on it and stick-up lights running down the middle of it for mood lighting. oh, and two half deflated balloons from who knows when. i am not even kidding. we also confirmed that they had an ipod connection so we could listen to the playlist i made just for our night out (can you tell we don’t get out much?!?!) and of course…no ipod connection. i am not sure who i want to write reviews for first…the company that bailed out last minute or the AWFUL limo we ended up with. at least our dinner was awesome. but it may be another six months before i decide to drink champagne/wine again. =)

    LOVE the skirt and how you styled it (amazing legs, btw)! sorry you ended up taking the ghetto limo to the dinner but at least now you can laugh to it 🙂

    sequin skirt & a limo? sounds like the beginnings of a good night! it’s a bummer that everything didn’t turn out exactly as planned, though.
