yesterday i tweeted that i bought my first julep nail polishes. while most responses were singing julep’s praise, there were a few people that hadn’t heard of them. and since i only recently heard of julep (and their julep maven program), i thought i would introduce you to them as well! i can’t really give the polish a review yet since i haven’t received my bottles but what has me most intrigued is their julep maven program. it is like birchbox for nail polish addicts (like myself). although apparently the only thing it really has in common with birchbox is that it is a monthly subscription service. to become a julep maven, you simply fill out a “style quiz” and then for $19.99/month you get a “sneak peek box” curated just for you based on your “style profile”. from every review i’ve read, julep sends full-size products. the part i like is that you get to see your box before it is mailed and decide whether or not you want to purchase that month, pull from another shelf (a different box), gift to a friend or simply not participate that month. i haven’t signed up yet but really really want to. can you tell? are you a julep maven???

    I haven’t tried their polishes yet either, but I’ve heard really good things. Didn’t know about this program…hmmm – might have to add this to my Christmas wish list! 🙂

    I’m a Maven and have gotten one box so far. I LOVE the program and their nail polishes are spectacular. They glide on so smoothly and really look great. I’ve gotten Shania and Lindsey so far. I really think they’re worth it. It’s fun to get goodies in the mail and these are full size, 3 full size and then a few samples (2 packets of lotion in my first one)

    I think you will definitely enjoy Julep. I singed up for this program a while back but since I rarely paint my nails I cancelled the service. Their nailpolish has a nice floral scent, and I also got a nice hand scrub in my introductory package. It’s beautifully packaged too so I think you will definitely enjoy this service more so than I did. I do wish that you can pick and choose the colours you want… Anyways, looked at the $2 garage sale 7FAM jeans and you did great on those 😉

    Girl, you KNOW I’m a Maven 🙂 I am addicted to nail polish. Just got my 2nd box and I love the colors and the quality of the products.

    I just got off of a conference call with the owner and she mentioned some new changes coming. I’m very excited!
