i’m wearing: f21 colorblock maxi, jessica simpson wedges, anthropologie belt, druzy necklace c/o taylor kenney jewelry, various bracelets, michael kors watch and max & chloe initial ring.

as i mentioned in my last post, we had AMAZING weather this weekend so i finally got to wear this colorblocked maxi dress. the empire waist was a little loose so i added the belt to make it more flattering and ended up loving the extra pop of color! i never plan outfits in advance so whenever i have somewhere to go, i end up scrambling throwing clothes all over the place complaining that i have nothing to wear. do you plan your outfits in advance?

p.s. the flowers are “iceland poppies” that we just planted in front of our house. pretty sure this dress had something to do with the choice of colors i picked out! =)

    Aww, your flowers are so pretty! Can’t wait to plant a garden once it’s nice enough here!! Love the colors of this dress and the belt you added is perfect! I try to plan my outfits the night before if I know we are going somewhere (like when I have MOPS or for church on Sunday)…otherwise it’s a free-for-all! 🙂

    I love the dress! Was tempted to buy it myself when I saw it online too. I love how you added the colorful belt! I NEVER plan my outfits in advance although every morning when I’m getting myself ready for work, I tell myself I should. Maybe I’ll take one week and try it to see how it goes….maybe.

    Looking gorgeous, Jenn! I always have a difficult time finding a sexy maxi that is bra friendly…love this one. Also, the length sometimes is an issue. How tall are you? Love the belt too!

    I am loving this dress Jenn and the belt you added looks fantastic! So jealous of your fabulous weather…it’ll be late May before I can wear something like this outdoors! So to answer your question, yes I do plan my outfits in advance…in fact 1 month in advance for the blog.

    And to answer your question: I completely plan out my outfits. It’s kinda sad because it can consume my thoughts sometimes… especially when I know I have a certain event coming up. I can’t help it – it’s part of being a fashion blogger! = )
