i’m wearing: rachel zoe faux fur vest, everly zig zag dress (as a top), 7 jeans, dsw wedges, max & chloe initial ring and house of harlow double starburst pendant. my lipstick is spellbound by covergirl.

i hope you guys don’t mind that i’ve been taking my pics in the same spot almost daily now. but i have found the best lighting…and that is all that really matters, right? i used to be able to take my pics when the sun was setting but when it’s winter, i just take pics during eeps nap (which is right in the middle of the day). as most bloggers know, taking pics in bright sunlight leads to harsh shadows and momma needs all the help she can get in the lighting department. i really ought to invest in a photography class or two. i ALWAYS use a flash…and i’d love to figure out how to get crisp photos without it. or is that what photo shop is for? =) i spend enough time editing as it is!

    Such a cute outfit – I’m still coveting that chevron dress! We are just learning how to take photos without the flash – it can be tricky, especially here where it is dark gray skies 99% of the time! 🙁

    I love that chevron dress that you’ve turned into a top! I don’t have much experience with DSLR cameras, we’re still using a point & shoot. So…don’t be envious…but yes my March photos are done. We just completed them this past weekend 🙂 When you photographer comes up 1x a month you plan your outfits ahead and work fast during the photo shoots! HAHA…that is why in all my photos it is sunny skies in Chicago! Your blog is doing fab, you get a lot of comments too!
