i’ve done a couple of yellow manicures (seen here and a leopard print here) but this is my first pastel yellow. my grocery store only carries like TEN nail polish colors so when i saw that they actually added a couple of new colors, i grabbed this one. i was surprised to see that revlon nail polish is now also formaldehyde and toluene free. it probably has been for a while but this was the first time i noticed it. not that i only buy f & t free polishes…i mean i’m pretty sure i am going to blow up the house whenever i use seche vite. i am also pretty certain that is the devil’s polish (ok, being a little dramatic here). it works so good, it’s almost too good to be true. and now i just can’t believe i had this much to write about nail polish in general. i think i need to get out more. lol.

    This shade of yellow is so pretty! I think some yellow polish can be too harsh, but this definitely is not. Another good thing about Revlon polish, it is also cruelty-free 🙂

    I’ve been a lot more adventurous with my nails this spring. I’ve gotten myself into a rut and have noticed I’m really bad about walking up to the racks of polish and thinking “OOH look at that awesome shade… of red!! I only have 8 more like it at home”. Some how the red always draws me in.

    But so far this spring I’ve stocked up on some Essie polishes and I’m currently wearing “turquoise & caicos” definitely outside of my comfort zone of reds & pinks but I think I’m liking it.

    OOo I received a yellow nail polish from Julep in my V-day mystery box and have been hesitating on trying it. Well..now that I see it on you, it looks great. Can I just admit that my hesitation was due to the unsightly got nail fungus sidebar ads I’ve seen that showed badly discoloured nails…in non other colour than yellow? Yup..that is probably tmi so sorry…
