as i mentioned previously, luckyfabb was held in santa monica. but what i failed to mention was that it was held RIGHT on the beach. for part three of my luckyfabb recap, i am sharing pics from the actual day of the conference. there were fashion designers and celebrities…but even more than that, lucky magazine put together some AMAZING blogger panels with topics such as “staying true to your voice”, “how brands work with blogs” and “ways you didn’t know you could monetize”. this event truly was for the bloggers.

the conference kicked off with a conversation with the incomparable zac posen. his story was so inspiring and we all just fell in love with him instantly.

the beautiful jessica alba. of course we all wanted to know what she was wearing (the top is alice & olivia and her pants…topshop)!

me and krystal bick of this time tomorrow…another one of my daily reads. i told myself i would not leave the conference without getting a pic with her and wendy (see yesterday’s post). i was pleasantly surprised by how friendly she was. this was the reoccurring theme throughout the conference. everyone…and i mean everyone was super friendly.

and of course you all remember my bloggy bff kimberly! we were inseparable. love!

the conference ended with a cocktail party and a performance by “a fine frenzy”. i am totally showing my age here…but i had NO idea who this was. seriously…i might want to try listening to the radio once in a while. believe it or not, i used to be THE music person in my group of friends. i can still kick anyones butt at name that tune as long as it is 70’s-90’s…lol. there i go showing my age again…do any of you remember name that tune?

and finally…”the three amigas”. i think this is the only pic i got of my whole outfit from the day of the conference. i wore a jcrew dress, white h&m blazer and my shoes are from dsw. i know i said i would be sharing what we got in our gift bag as well, but unfortunately i ran out of time writing this so will be sharing the details of it in a separate post later today! be sure to check back!

    I absolutely LOVE that photo of you and Kim! I wish we could go back and relive these past few days. It was so great getting to know you! Loved that JCrew dress on you! I knew you would look amazing in it. And your DSW heels…well I’ll admit it now but numerous times during the conference I found myself staring at them! I agree with Kim-wish we could bribe your hubby to let you come to September’s FABB!

    I just got my new lucky magazine with leighton meester on the cover and I opened it to the editors letter to see a familiar face. I just had to look at your lucky fabb post to confirm my suspicion that yep…. IT’S YOU!!!!! Yay!
