i’m wearing my michael kors watch, gold link bracelets were ebay finds and the neon bracelets are c/o threads.

i’ve been a long time follower of the shine project so when ashley asked me to help spread the word about her newest project called threads, i could not WAIT to be a part of it. last year, ashley started a non profit organization to help send at risk youth to college. i don’t know if it is because i am a mom now or what, but this video actually brought me to tears. it is just a glimpse into the lives of a few students that the shine project has helped. threads employs youth so that they can continue to sustain themselves and help pay for college by making bracelets like the ones you see in my pics above. you can see all of the available bracelets by checking out their store here. by purchasing threads…you are wearing more than just a bracelet, you are wearing change. you can also help spread the word about this great program by using the share buttons below. thank you so much!

    Children’s organizations also tug at my heart strings now that I have J. We give regularly to a national fight hunger organization. Those bracelets are beautiful! As well as the watch.
