opening stockings is one of my favorite christmas traditions. i can usually send my husband to ulta, sephora or even target and EASILY provide him with a wishlist a mile long. last year the poor thing went to ulta and was so sick he had a full-on eyes-watering, choking cough attack and had to leave after filling up his basket. here are a few things i wouldn’t mind finding in my stocking this christmas!

1. itunes gift cards: i can’t tell you how many times i have tried to download an app while i am running errands and eep is having a meltdown. and my music library needs some serious updating. i think everyone is tired of my 70’s & 80’s greatest hits.

2. essie magnetic nail polish: essie now has magnetic polish in a cool snakeskin design so i definitely need one or two of these to add to my collection!

3. spanx: i was introduced to spanx when i lived in nyc. i have three pairs (hip & tummy shapers) from 2006 that seriously need to be replaced. my husband HATES them. i LOVE them.

4. olay total effects tone correcting eye treatment: i grabbed this in the P&G suite at luckyfabb and it has become one of my favorite products. it adds just the right amount of illuminating brightness without being too shimmery. i’m almost out…hint, hint!!!

5. ciate velvet manicure kit: if you can believe it, i still have not tried a caviar manicure! when i was looking for a kit to add to my list, i came across this VELVET manicure….um, yes…please.

6. zoya gilty pleasures nail polish trio: i already have a white polish. and i even have a real gold nail polish (deborah lippmann’s boom boom pow) but what i do not have is a perfect black polish. and the gold in this one is more flakey than glittery so totally different!

7. neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair eye cream: one of my readers actually recommended this for an eye moisturizer to help with the under eye crepe paper-ish wrinkles. and as you know i am ALWAYS looking for the fountain of youth…so thanks for the recommendation laurie!

    Yes, I do love the Nuetrogena Rapid Wrinkle line….I am WAY older (early 50s) and it has really improved the ‘crepey-ness’ of my eye area. I love the whole line….and the best thing, it is available at mass market retailers everywhere. (and it’s affordable, compared to luxury brands).
