i have wanted to try a matte top coat for some time now. which is funny because i much prefer a shiny top coat over a flat satin-y finish. i own two matte color polishes but i just love the idea that i can make ANY polish matte if i want to with this alessandro top coat. btw, the coral/orange color polish is deborah lippmann’s “lara’s theme”. i was also impressed at how quickly it dried! i used a base coat, two coats of polish and the top coat and it was completely dry in like five minutes! what do you guys think?

    Not sure if I like the matte finish! I love the shine of nail polish… though might look awesome with all 4 out of 5 nails shiny and one matte. Love the fact that there is a topcoat so any nail polish can become matte.

    LOVE that matte effect; I’m often too lazy to do more than one coat but I would do this any day, as shiny polish isn’t quite my fancy.

    I love the matte look – I haven’t yet found a matte topcoat, though! I haven’t checked Ulta, but that’s probably my next stop. I like how this turned out!!
