First of all, gahhhh….how cute is this box? Dallas Shaw‘s illustrations are just ahhhhhmazing. She collaborated with Glossybox this month to curate the American Beauty box. I could not wait to see what was inside! Here’s what I got:

c.Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist: Elegant, nourishing oils absorb quickly into skin to smooth and soften while providing hydration. Infused with a gentle, sweet blend of honey and almond, it’s the ultimate aromatic indulgence for the skin and senses! My thoughts: I actually liked the scent of this and sprayed it on my arms immediately. I can’t EVER imagine spraying it on my face but for someone like me who rarely wears perfume…the light scent was nice.

Tarte complexion enhancing lipstick: Get total lip therapy in a beautiful nude shade that‘s uniquely you! These creamy lipsticks have a glossy, tinted core that gives the appearance of fuller-looking, luscious lips. Thanks to complexion-enhancing pigments and emollient waxes, lips have never appeared more youthful. My thoughts: This was my fave item in this box. I LOVE the nude outer ring color with the pop of pink center! So fun to wear and it’s very moisturizing.

SpaRitual Favorites Nail Polish: SpaRitual offers a wide range of fun, sophisticated and modern nail lacquer shades to help you express the most colorful side of you. Colors will vary. My thoughts: BEAUTIFUL color. It will be one of my fall transition colors for sure.

My thoughts: Well, we all know how I feel about perfume. Actually…for any newbies, I RARELY wear perfume anymore…although I have been sort of itching to buy a new bottle. I’ve had three signature perfumes in my lifetime (Bijan, Poeme and most recently…Nannette Lepore perfume) and all of them pretty strong so it’s strange that I don’t like perfume much anymore. I wasn’t a big fan of any of these really but it may have to do with the fact that I smelled them all one after the other and felt a little sick after.

Philip B. Shampoo: Philip B® products revitalize every type of hair while evoking a warming, cooling or refreshing sensation and delivering glossy, radiant hair. You will receive one Philip B® product in the box. My thoughts: I haven’t had a chance to use this one yet. But it is safe for color treated hair so it is getting thrown in the toiletry bag! And it’s just in time too, because I just used up my other ones while we were in Palm Springs!
