According to WhoWhatWear.com, belting scarves is the thing to do again. I remember when I first started blogging and Sydney of The Daybook was one of my biggest blogger inspirations. Hard to believe she is now a mom of TWO…but I digress. Belting a scarf seemed like BEYOND fashion forward to me at the time but I gave it a whirl in this post from 2011. And thank goodness she also taught me how to tuck in my long belt ends too. Way back when, I would have just had the end of the belt poking out all awkward I’m sure. =) My scarf today is more of a poncho or blanket scarf (I found it in the scarf section at Kohls) but it stayed put better than I thought it was going to. I’m looking forward to trying this look again with a traditional scarf next time!

    LOVE this – just wore a scarf like this earlier in the week and it totally confused my husband. “What is that exactly? A coat? A wrap?” LOL 🙂

    That’s so funny you look at Sydney as an inspiration – I do, too! And the thing that tickled me pink – she would take photos right outside of my best friend’s apartment. I was so jealous she was right there because I love her style. BUT – I love yours, too! And this blanket scarf belted has inspired me. I love this look – you look super chic!
