Over the years, I’ve come to realize that I am totally a “prints” girl. So naturally as soon as spring time rolls around, I gravitate toward all things floral! This mixed print floral dress is beautiful but it’s the front slits that really caught my eye. For once, I was actually happy that it was a slightly windy day so you guys could actually see them. But what I didn’t realize was that this dress also has pockets! I didn’t even notice them until I was trying to find the link for you guys. Just when I thought this dress couldn’t get any better!

Another thing I wanted to mention, as the title of this post suggests (a la The Devil Wears Prada), florals for Spring isn’t really groundbreaking. But one of the ways you CAN update your floral pieces is by pairing them with metallic accessories! I know that rose quartz is the Pantone color of the year so you may be reaching for all things rose gold, but I’ve been personally incorporating more silver back into my wardrobe. These silver lace-up heels are what I like to call “show stoppers”. “Show stoppers” are those special shoes that can make ANY outfit go from simple to chic just because of the shoes. When I came down the stairs wearing this dress, my hubby & son both complimented it. But when I put on the heels, my hubby actually stopped in his tracks and said….”wow, those shoes really kicked it up a notch”. Then we both agreed that they have to come with me to Palm Desert for Fashion Week!
