Opening Day Del Mar 2016

I rarely bring my DSLR camera with me anymore so I apologize for the picture quality…but I wanted to share my Opening Day outfit with you! We hadn’t gone in over ten years so it was a real treat when our friends invited us to join them in the turf club. The people watching is like nowhere else! I had planned on wearing a maxi dress but after a bit of research, I found out that “cocktail attire” is more common since most people attend after-parties right after the races. My dress was a little racier (pardon the pun) than I usually go for but it turns out mine was actually one of the more conservative looks…ha! We are already looking forward to going again next year…and next time I might even wear a fascinator!

    girrrrrrrrrl you look HOT! And if looks like ya’ll had so much fun! I need to start brining my DSLR more places too. I always either forget or don’t feel like carrying it around. I mean…. it really doesn’t go with any outfits! 😉 haha
