adidas Samba sneakers

It’s official. I’m part of the adidas Samba fangirl club. I’ll admit that I was late to the game but now I’m obsessed. My first pair was the green stripe version and then when the traditional black stripe came back in stock, I snagged a second pair!

I find that they run a little big so I went down a half size. I’m normally a size 7 and the 6.5 fit perfect. Hallelujah for half sizes, am I right?!?

adidas womens Samba sneakers

I am wearing the original Sambas but there are tons of different styles (and colors) to choose from. But the best part is how comfortable they are! I thought they would need a breaking-in period but they were comfortable on day one. I even wore them without socks one day because I couldn’t find my no-see-em socks. No blisters.

I love that Sambas can be worn casually with athleisure wear or dressed up. The upper portion of the sneaker is made with suede and leather which really elevates the look, IMHO.

Fun fact: the Samba is the second-highest selling adidas shoe behind the classic Stan Smith.

But not to worry…if Sambas aren’t your style, adidas has a great selection of women’s running shoes as well! I’ve got my eye on the red & pink Adizero SL running shoes.
