I always get excited for collaboration boxes and the Harper’s Bazaar for Glossybox did not disappoint. I was first introduced to Vichy products years ago in one of my very first Glossybox’s and I’ve been a fan ever since. The older I get, the more moisturizer I need so the night cream is probably my favorite item in the box. The Essie nail polish (in Ave-Hue) and Benefit Cosmetics mascara take second place. Benefit Cosmetics has a real cult following and for good reason. I use several of their products in my daily makeup routine. As for the Lip Tar…the consistency and high pigmentation are amazing. Unfortunately the metallic color did nothing for my skin tone. And lastly…the Bvlgari scented conditioner. Great concept…who doesn’t want great smelling hair? Only problem is that I am not a huge fan of Bvlgari perfume. I hate to leave on a less than stellar note…but perfume is such a personal preference! All in all…this was a great box. And with a $60 value…the $21 price tag is worth it in my book!

Today I am going to my first Zumba class ever. And I am terrified. I’ve been doing Stroller Strides for 2.5 years but now that it doesn’t fit in with Eep’s* preschool schedule/extracurricular activities, I was forced to join the dreaded gym. Ugh. I am so used to working out outdoors with my little guy that walking into a room full of people is causing me major anxiety. I tried to twist my friends arm to come with me but she is not a Zumba fan so I am on my own! Wish me luck. LOL.

I am seriously in shock at how soft & smooth my skin looks. Maybe it’s because I never exfoliate my chest but I honestly got results immediately. I can not wait to try this on my face!

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream: A dose of soothing camphor gives this light yellow cream its faint herbal scent, which fades quickly upon contact with your skin. You’ll be amazed by how quickly it absorbs into your skin without leaving a greasy feeling behind. My thoughts: This has a very strong campho phenique scent which I am not a fan of. So of course I let my hubby smell it and he loved it so it is now on his nightstand! But the scent did wear off fairly quick so maybe I should take it back! lol

Smashbox Cosmetics Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer: A proprietary trio of pigments and lip-glossing pearls delivers a vibrant, long-lasting tint, while vitamin E and avocado oil moisturize and nourish lips. My thoughts: Nice and smooth…not sticky. But I was not a huge fan of the color (coral) on me.

RUFFIAN Nail Lacquer – RUFFIAN Naked: This glossy high-end nail polish is formulated to hold up for days without chipping (not that we would expect anything less from this top-of-the-line fashion label). We dig the geometric deco-inspired bottle, but we especially love how easy it is to get a good grip on the cap so we can polish our nails with confidence and control. The nude hue is fresh, sophisticated, and chic—exactly what we’d expect from NYC-based fashion label RUFFIAN’s first (and highly anticipated) nail lacquer collection. My thoughts: A FABULOUS nude polish. It can be hard to find a good neutral polish but this one works well with my skin tone!

RUFFIAN Dressing Room Nail Lacquer Remover Towelettes: These black wipes will brighten up your next polish change. Free of acetone, they have a subtle lily scent that’s fresh and elegantly floral. Bonus: They’re infused with vitamin E to strengthen nails. My thoughts: I love love love having these on hand for traveling. So convenient!

Dr. Jart+ Pore Minimalist Mask: Korean charcoal detoxifies and tightens while arginine gently clarifies congested skin. A dose of spearmint extract improves elasticity for a smooth, youthful-looking complexion. Moroccan lava clay removes dead skin cells for a smoother, brighter complexion. Ideal for those with clogged pores and oily skin, this mask is also hypoallergenic and free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. My thoughts: This is the only product I haven’t tried yet. I do have clogged pores but my skin is dry not oily so not sure this one is for me.

This dress was the surprise item in my September Golden Tote. I think they must’ve paid attention to the fact that I live in Southern CA because everyone else seems to have gotten very fall appropriate pieces and I somehow got this dress. BTW…I am not complaining…this lightweight dress is perfect for the heatwave we’ve been having. Plus I love the paisley print & ruffled sleeves!
