I came across this dress in my girl Shanna’s Poshmark closet and immediately scooped it up. It’s actually the second dress I scored from her closet! Even though it is Fall colors….which I am NOT really ready for…despite all of my magazines telling me I should be…I couldn’t help but wear it. BTW…speaking of shopping closets…I have been working on organizing my closet since the day I finally promised my husband my laundry basket would no longer be overflowing convinced my husband to let me change one of our spare rooms into a closet/wardrobe/dressing/office room. This past weekend I FINALLY got all of my clothes switched over from plastic hangers to the space saving non-slip felt hangers, took a HUGE bag of clothes to the dry cleaners and even took a handful of items to the tailor for alterations. I bought these shorts and the matching blazer from the Prabal Gurung for Target collaboration over a year and a half ago. The blazer still has the tag on it and has been hanging in my closet unworn. But I can’t bear to get rid of it yet! So do any of you guys watch “Ladies of London”? I am SO sad that it’s already over! I don’t know if I’ve ever been instantly hooked to a show as quickly as I was to this one. Clearly I have a reality show addiction but here’s hoping it gets renewed for another season!!! Or if not, please PLEASE let Caroline get her own show. Totally #teamcaroline.

I will admit that I always get a little anxious when I first try a new facewash but I really wanted to give this whole collection a try for maximum benefits. My thoughts: I was dying to see what these gold flakes were all about and was curious if they would be abrasive or cause irritation to my semi-sensitive skin. I’m happy to report that the facewash is gentle (you can barely see the flakes) and leaves my face feeling squeaky clean. It removes my makeup wonderfully and the fresh clean citrus scent is definitely invigorating.

My thoughts: This mask has the consistency of  jelly & honey mixed but let me tell you that my skin was SUPER soft and glowing after this mask. Immediate visible results with this mask so I’m looking forward to seeing the longterm benefits! Tip: don’t forget to use the applicator spoon it comes with. I may or may not have just jammed my fingers in the jar and slathered it all over.

OROGOLD 24K Vitamin C Booster Facial Serum: This 24K Vitamin C Facial Booster Serum is flecked with 24K gold pieces. It illuminates and brightens the skin immediately, while rapidly diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. My thoughts: When I first put this on, I thought that it would be oily but it actually absorbed nicely within about a half hour. The instructions say to use it as part of your nighttime skincare routine but I like it so much that I’ve also been  applying just the teeniest drop under my eyes before my moisturizer during the day as well. And OMG…this stuff smells SO good that I want to eat it! Leaves my skin baby soft.

Verdict: This is a pricier skincare line but if it’s in your budget, I say treat yourself!

Fabletics sent me a new workout outfit from their Summer lineup and I loved it so much that I had to share with you guys! I immediately fell in love with the higher neckline of the new Tahiti Cayman top. My decolletage tends to burn/freckle/wrinkle (the JOYS of aging!) so this top is perfect! And the pants brought me right back to my Van Halen (David Lee Roth) days…only much cuter! Last time I sized down in the pants so I did this time as well but I think these Gaviota Capri pants in particular run more TTS.
