This skirt is like BUTTUH. Like buttuh, I tell ya! I came across it on a recent Nordstrom Rack trip and even though it is a tiny big, I could not pass it up. I also knew my hubby would not be a fan. Which usually means…it’s super cute! =) Also, I washed this shirt and I think maybe it was supposed to be dry cleaned…I don’t remember it having 3/4 sleeves…lol. Could it possibly have shrunk that much? Um, yes…it did shrink…just checked an old post to see how it fit. Not as much as I thought but definitely much shorter sleeves and length now. Oops.

It has been like summer around here and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. With all of the extra sunlight (and warm temps), we were outdoors until close to 7pm last night before we even realized it was way past dinnertime! My husband is building our first raised garden box so we just sat in the yard chatting and playing with eep* for hours. It’s funny because at LuckyFabb, Nicole Richie was one of the guest speakers and of all of the topics she could have covered, somehow most of the convo was spent discussing her garden. All I could think was how interested my husband would have been hearing her name off every single fruit/veggie in her garden. All I cared about was the fact that she wears a Chanel fanny pack while doing it. LOL.

My love/hate relationship with crop tops has been a constant battle as of late. They are EVERYWHERE and I LOVE the way they look on everyone else. I just haven’t found the perfect high-waisted bottom/crop top combo YET. So in the meantime, this midi top is filling my crop top void. Does that even make sense? LOL. You know what I mean, right?

As I mentioned yesterday, I attended LuckyFabb for the third time this past weekend! For anyone who may not know what LuckyFabb is, it is a conference for “Fashion and Beauty Bloggers” that is put on twice a year by Lucky Magazine. There are always amazing guest speakers and it is a great opportunity to network with other bloggers & brands. None of my IRL friends blog, so it is just such a treat to be surrounded by ladies that know exactly how much time & dedication it takes to run a blog. Many of our boyfriends/husbands/significant others get tired of our shenanigans when we NEED to share an Instagram IN THE MOMENT. Not the case at LuckyFabb. We will scout out perfect photo-op locations and share our favorite editing tools with anyone and everyone who will listen. It’s pretty dang FABBulous. I was going to give you a rundown of some of my favorite advice from the speakers at the conference (Nicole Richie, Coco Rocha & Sophia Amoruso to name a few), but my girl Hallie from Corals & Cognacs hit the nail on the head with her “Ten Best Quotes from LuckyFabb” post.

I reconnected with SO many of my bloggy friends from years past (and made so many new ones as well) but it was my roomies, Shanna of Because Shanna Said So and Stesha from Classic & Bubbly that made this weekend even more memorable. Shanna and Stesha were friends before the conference, but this was my first time meeting them both and we INSTANTLY bonded. I mean, it was like we’d been friends for years. It’s so funny because when I was checking in, the gal at reception was blown away that I would be rooming with people I’d never met. If you would have told me just a few short years ago that I would be sharing a room with girls I’d met on the internet, I never would have believed it either.

We must have taken at least a hundred pics in this photo booth. And 99% of them turned out HILARIOUS. It took every bit of my restraint to not share each and every one of them.

The conference was held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills and they had a ginormous iron horse and pig in the lobby with a tray of apples so I convinced the girls to pose “Real Housewife of LuckyFabb” style! Guess it would have made more sense if we were all from NYC.

It was definitely a whirlwind weekend and one I’ll never forget. If you are considering attending, I highly recommend it.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I was at LuckyFabb this past weekend. It was my third time attending and I was really looking forward to seeing how different it would be having a new Editor in Chief running the show. I have to say that Eva Chen was totally inspiring and is truly a girls girl (#girlboss). I will be covering more of the details of the actual conference tomorrow but thought I would share what I wore in a separate post. BTW, so THIS is what it’s like to have someone else taking your pics?!?! A big thank you to Shanna for snapping these for me. Now if only I could convince her to move her family to CA!
