Moto Skinnies

Louis Vuitton

Navy Blazer

My husband bought me this Louis Vuitton bag YEARS ago (WAY before we were married). Back when he was trying to “woo” me! I think I wore/used it every single day for probably 5 years straight. Now that it’s been sitting on a shelf in my closet for 5+ years, I’m thinking about bringing it back into the rotation. I’ll never forget being a little disappointed at the time (so ungrateful!) that he didn’t get me the “speedy” that everyone had. Now I am thankful that I have a unique bag that no one has! Funny how things change…

Anthropologie Pleidas Cardigan

Pom Pom Belt

I know I mentioned a while back that the word on the street was that “waterfall cardigans” were on their way out. Clearly they hadn’t seen this one when they made that statement. I’m pretty sure I would have bought anything made in this material/crochet/knit…and don’t even get me started on the pom pom belt tie. You know I was whirling those around ALL.DAY.LONG.

I’ve always loved wearing white. When I was in my early twenties, it was kind of a running joke when my friends would ask what I was wearing out because I would somehow always find a new “white top” to wear. So it’s kind of weird that I went with a cream wedding dress rather than a white one. Which has nothing to do with anything…just a random thought as I was typing. I never got around to “dressing up” today so I thought I would just share a few of my recent purchases. Which one is your fave?

You win 10 points if you know the next line to the title of my post. The points aren’t worth anything but bragging rights. But we would probably be friends IRL (that means “in real life”, mom) if you do. =) It was actually 80+ degrees this weekend so we took turns taking cat naps under the gazebo. And it was the perfect time to wear my new one piece swimsuit! I personally met Lisa Vogel (the designer of the swimsuit) back when I went to the SwimSpot event to meet Gretchen Rossi of RHOOC (see that post here). This is the first one piece that is actually flattering on my behind. Most one pieces have TOO much coverage (which I think end up making your butt look bigger). It also has nude mesh on the side so it only LOOKS like you’re wearing a monokini. So glam!
