OOTD: Brunch

Anthropologie Mahdia Peasant Top

Free People Vegan Clutch

High-Waters

Floral Peasant Top

I’m not sure if I’m feeling these jeans or not. I like the dark wash but they are that awkward length…too long for flats and too short for heels. I wore them with non-platform wedges and thought they looked fine and then of course AFTER I went to brunch and came home to snap a few pics for the blog, I realized…um, hi high-waters. Ugh. The camera never lies.

P.S. I’ve worn them before here and they didn’t look quite as high-water-ish?!?

I grabbed this tee a couple of weeks ago and I could use a few more like it…

Headlines The Spa Facials

I have a new obsession…FACIALS. Believe it or not, I just had my first facial in close to ten years! You would think someone as skincare obsessed as me that I would go ALL THE TIME. I’m not sure what took me so long other than my last experience was a little clinical with extractions, etc. but Kimberly from Headlines has a new regular customer. Seriously….if you are local…you NEED to see her ASAP. I went into it letting her know that I am completely happy with my current cleansing routine (dove beauty bar for sensitive skin…no really) but need all the help I can get in the reversing signs of aging/anti-aging department. We started off with a consultation and I let her know my main concerns (under eye crepey-ness, loss of elasticity in my neck area/jowls and redness). Then she decided that the Vital Defense facial would work best for  me. This facial is specifically designed to prevent visible premature aging, to combat environmental stresses combined with antioxidant treatments to brings dull, distressed skin back to life! YES, YES, YES! Not only was the facial ALL KINDS OF AMAZING, all hour facials include a scalp massage and a foot massage!!! Are you kidding me…how did she know that I LOVE foot massages (after she finishes your face…obvi…lol)?!? I literally left the place glowing AND relaxed.

Additional info for my local friends: All of Kimberly’s facial are “European Facials” using Yon-Ka products. Facials start at $100 and are customized to meet each individuals needs based on their consultations. Also, stay tuned as I will be reviewing the Yon-Ka products I am using in a separate post. You can reach Kimberly at the Headlines Salon (& Spa) at 760-436-1812. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Disclosure: Kimberly offered me this facial gratis as she is building her clientele since she relocated from Dallas. Yes, I totally asked if she knew Courtney Kerr. =) But I could honestly not be happier with her and plan on telling everyone I know about my awesome facial.

Vaseline Spray & Go

I am pretty sure Vaseline decided to make their “Spray & Go” lotion JUST FOR ME. I’ve never liked to wear lotion 1. because I can’t stand feeling “oily” after applying it and 2. because it drives me nuts to wait for it to dry before I put on my clothes. But the older I get the more I need to moisturize. This spray on lotion actually makes an annoying task fun! It even won Allure’s “Best of Beauty” award so you know it’s good! Vaseline Spray & Go comes in three different formulas, each super moisturizing and NOT sticky or greasy!

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture – contains pure oat extract and leaves skin feeling healthy and soft.

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Aloe Fresh – contains pure aloe and leaves skin feeling healthy and fresh.

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Cocoa Radiant – contains pure cocoa butter and leaves skin feeling healthy and glowing.

Vaseline Spray & Go Lotion

And it really is as easy to use as that girl on the commercial…spray up one leg and down on the other…a quick rub-in and you are out the door. Well, after you get dressed. I still haven’t mastered pulling on an outfit in one fell swoop! Oh, and I also like to keep a can in the car as well. Having a 3.5 year old, we are constantly slathering on anti-bacterial gel on the go, so I like to do a quick spray of this on my hands afterwards! Have you tried Vaseline Spray & Go yet?

P.S. Stop by Vaselines Facebook page and #sprayitforward by clicking here (or the image below) to grab a $2.00 off coupon and $2.00 more when a friend signs up (offer valid 2/7-3/9)!
