We still have a few months left of Winter but I can’t help but look forward to Spring fashion. I seriously considered buying the short suit above until I remembered that I bought the Prabal Gurung for Target floral short suit last year! I wore the shorts a few times (seen here and here) but never wore the blazer & shorts together. Maybe this year…

I’ve been a LONG time fan (and user of) ShopStyle so when they asked me to participate in their “We Search. We Find. We ShopStyle” lay down campaign, I was ecstatic! And then I remembered how unflattering the last pic of me laying down turned out…ha ha! I normally take all of my pics by myself with a tripod & remote so I had to have my hubby help me out with this one. Each participant was asked to create their “lay down” collage using items from our own closets showcasing our personal style. I immediately knew I would have to include one of my favorite trends of the season…leather, faux leather, and more leather! And since the black & tan tote bag is one of my absolute favorite things, I went with a neutral theme. Looking at this now…I’m pretty impressed that all of these pieces could easily be mixed and matched to make several different looks. And all of them look & feel SO me.

I haven’t really been shopping much lately since I’m waiting for all of the new arrivals for spring. Which is a good thing I guess, because it forces me to shop my own closet. I got this skirt for $10 at an end of season sale at H&M last year and I hadn’t worn this top since 2012 (link below). Now if only I could organize my closet(s), it sure would be a lot easier to get dressed each day.

I took a sewing class in high school (WAY back in 1992) and got an “A” in the class. I made a lined dress so I pretty much got double credit for basically making two dresses in one. Which has nothing to do with this post but I remember learning what “monochromatic” meant in that class. Sadly, I have no idea what happened to the dress!

You guys know by now that I LOVE nail polish but surprisingly my FAVE product this month was not the nail polish but the rose scented body wash!!! See below for my thoughts on all of the products:

Anatomicals YOU NEED A BLOOMING SHOWER!: This vitalizing body cleanser makes every shower a flower-power experience. The natural healing properties of rose and jasmine leave you feeling as fresh and fragrant as a flower. My thoughts: LOVE LOVE LOVE. I recently splurged and bought La Mer face cream and it has a light rose scent. And now I am OBSESSED with all things rose scented. Which is weird because I hated rose perfumed anything growing up. So if you know a good rose scented perfume…PLEASE leave it in the comments. I may finally buy a bottle of perfume for the first time in YEARS. I will definitely be buying this body wash again!

It looks like pureed pumpkin too. Excited to give this one a try!!!

nails inc. Victoria Polish: Nails inc nail polishes are professionally formulated for a long lasting, ultra glossy finish. Victoria is a top selling shade that will go with any outfit, day or night. My thoughts: I JUST painted my nails “pat on the black” (Sally Hansen) and this color is almost an exact dupe! It’s a keeper.
