It appears I have a new uniform. Boyfriend jeans and graphic print sweatshirts. With the holiday season in full swing, I keep reaching for comfy outfits to run my 76876876876 errands each day. I actually won this sweatshirt in an instagram contest and it could not be more “me”. I’ve always wanted to be a ballerina so at least I get to pretend I am one for the day!

THOSE roots. Yikes. I have a hair appointment on Thursday and am seriously considering just dying my hair brown. I think it would be a lot less maintenance to just go in for a root touch up every few weeks instead of this blonde upkeep! OR…I may come back blonder. LOL. I sure hope I scheduled a trim too because this in-between length drives me bonkers. Although I did kind of just ask for clip in hair extensions for Christmas. So I should probably make up my mind…

I don’t know about you but I sure am glad that graphic print sweatshirts are in style because I could not have been more comfy. In other news, we just started watching Breaking Bad last night and I have to say I am not sure what all of the hype is about. It’s pretty predictable and some of the acting is just flat out bad. We waited weeks to get the first season on Netflix (it was back-ordered forever after it won all of the awards) so I’m hoping it gets better. I mean, according to Wikipedia it is considered one of the greatest television series of all time. Did you watch the show???

For those of you who are still looking for gift ideas for the ladies in your life, I thought I would share a few of my favorite things right now (ranging in price from $47-$185).

1. Maskcara’s IIID HAC Kit: I missed Black Friday sales because I stayed up til midnight refreshing my screen to get my hands on this kit. And boy am I glad I did. Ever since I watched my first HAC tutorial on Cara’s blog, I’ve been OBSESSED with perfecting the “Highlighting & Contouring” technique. Stay tuned for my full review coming to the blog soon.

2. Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System: You are probably already familiar with the Clarisonic Skin Cleansing Brush but this device is made specifically to enhance the effectiveness of anti-aging products applied to the eye area. I was a total skeptic but after reading amazing reviews on almost every site, I decided to treat myself and go for it. If I get results even half as good as everyone claims, I will be thrilled.

3. Urban Decay Naked Palette: I got the original palette a couple of years ago and since then two more have been released. All of them have gorgeous neutral colors that are perfect for creating a natural or smokey eye look. A must-have for every gal’s makeup case if you ask me.

4. Jcrew Felt Hat: I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect grey blazer and the perfect grey hat. At least I found one of them. I’m sort of obsessed with heather grey and camel right now.

5. Stella & Dot Phoenix Necklace: This has been my favorite bling this season. I’ve worn it a few times on the blog (seen here and here) and most recently wore it to a Christmas party. It is a MAJOR statement piece and I get compliments every time I wear it. But my favorite thing about it is that it can be worn long or short making it even more versatile. The glamour girl in your life will not be disappointed with this stunner.

After I snapped these pics I realized I just wore an almost identical outfit last week (seen here). Flannel, denim & leather….just worn differently. Although, I’ve been wearing cardigans non-stop lately so it was kind of nice to finally wear my leather jacket. It’s been fuh-reezing (no really…it was 29 degrees out yesterday morning at our house) lately! BTW you guys….Christmas is in TWO weeks! And I JUST ordered our Christmas cards last night. Yikes.
