I just realized that I have somehow acquired quite the collection of coats from Forever 21. I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this several times now but I almost ALWAYS shop their LOVE 21 line. It runs a half size larger than their signature line and is better quality IMHO. When I bought this jacket in particular, I didn’t even realize it you could wear it two ways (buttoned up as in the top 3 pics or unbuttoned in the last pic). I was so excited that I busted out the “flamingo pose”. Well, that and my husband and son were watching me pose for these pics so I hammed it up for their entertainment. =)

Last week I attended a “Sparkling Soiree” hosted by GLAM and Sauza Sparkling Margaritas at the beautiful Petit Ermitage hotel in West Hollywood. I was hoping to get a room there since LA is about a 2.5 hour drive from my house but they were already sold out by the time I called. Thankfully, I was able to get a room at a nearby hotel so I didn’t have to turn around and drive home the same night! I was also SO happy that my girl Nikki met up with me so we could go together! The party was AMAZING. We were treated to sparkling margs, a delicious dinner and a fabulous desert bar (with edible glitter, of course!). Sadly, I didn’t end up taking any pics with my real camera. I think I am going to start leaving it at home since I always end up just instagramming instead! I didn’t even get a good pic of my dress (sold out but this one and this one are similar & same color)! We ended the evening with an unbelievable white elephant gift exchange with presents from Anthro, Jcrew & Baublebar to name a few.  But the best part was getting to chat & mingle with so many beautiful & talented ladies. It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Yesterday I participated in Hollywood Housewife’s “#OneDayHH” challenge where we documented our day…all day…on Instagram. It was not a typical day for us…I had a ton of errands to run and never even made it out of my workout clothes. So needless to say…no outfit post today! These pics look so random but it was actually a really nice day. I even got a little “me” time so I decided to stop by my local tanning salon to get a spray tan since I’m attending an event tomorrow night (more on that later). But man oh man have tanning salons changed since I used to be a frequent “fake baker”. I was shocked to learn that the last time I had been in to tan was in 2001! Surely I have needed a tan for something in the last…oh I don’t know…TWELVE years?!?! Back in the day you just paid for a mystic tan and BAM…BRONZE GODDESS (or Oompa Loompa) in 3 minutes. Now you can choose from like 5 colors and add bronze boosters, additives and even choose a scent! Am I the only who did not know this? LOL. Oh, but that’s not all. I got an early “Black Friday” deal and for $99 got unlimited tanning for the rest of the year PLUS I get to use any of their spa services. So yeah, I ended up spending 30 minutes in the “hydration station”, 30 minutes whitening my teeth and THEN got my spray tan.

Last year (or maybe it was just earlier this year) I was ALL ABOUT blazers. And now it seems I’ve gone back to the cardigan. This is another one from Target. I told you I went a little cardigan crazy on my last trip. I don’t know what is up with Target’s website lately but it says that this one is not available in stores…but I bought mine in my local store. Btw, these jeans are probably close to 15 years old. Good ol’ Frankie B’s…back in the day when low LOW low riders were in style. Now I only wear them with longer shirts but the flare is just right.

I am OBSESSED with this necklace! Not only is it gorgeous but it is adjustable! You can wear it long as I have here or you can double the chain in the back for a shorter look. I will be wearing it throughout the holiday season for sure! Also, I mentioned this faux leather tee from Target a while back. I don’t know if these pics do it justice but for $17.99, it is a steal. There are a ton of “faux/vegan” pieces out there that are shiny & stiff but this top looks/feels like the real thing in person.
