Black Blazer, White T-Shirt & Jeans

Crocs Retro Sneakers

Crocs Retro Sneakers

When I first moved to NYC, I swore I would never be one of those women who wore sneakers with a blazer, dress, etc. on my way to/from work. Six months later, I kept ALL of my work shoes under my desk and changed into them AFTER I got to work. Now that I’m a stay at home mom, I am pretty happy that wearing running shoes is actually a “trend”. Neon sneakers were EVERYWHERE in Spring but for Fall I’m loving the sportier retro vibe of these black & fuchsia Crocs sneakers.

BTW…if you need some inspiration on how you can dress up your sneakers, check out this post. Pretty sure I will be wearing mine with my faux leather shorts next!

P.S. You can see how I wore the neon sneakers (as well as ALL of my other Crocs videos) here.

OOTD: Hi-Lo

MM Couture pleated dress

Jcrew Fan Fringe Necklace

Pleated Dress

Ann Taylor Greta Heels

This dress has been hanging in my closet for over a year with the tags still attached. It has a slight hi-lo hem (I can’t stand calling them mullet dresses) so I went back & forth on weather I should have it hemmed or not. I finally said the heck with it and wore it to our friends wedding reception this weekend! It was a busier than usual weekend for us. My hubby had his monthly poker party at our house and I had a long overdue girls night out. Now that we are all healthy again, I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things this week! Happy Monday!

TGIF! Not much to say today other than I have been battling a cold ALL WEEK LONG and I am so ready to start feeling better! Since I didn’t get around to taking any outfit pics for you today, I thought I would just do a little Friday round-up post.

I am still convinced that this pic somehow got spammed or something because how is it possible that it got re-pinned over 700+ times? For those of you who asked about the boots, they run TTS and are available in black, cognac & grey here.

I went on a little drugstore concealer shopping spree and of the three I purchased, this one ended up being my favorite.

One of my favorite blogs got a facelift and I’m lovin’ it.

Today is the last day to enter my $50 Jcrew “or” Forever21 (winner’s choice) giveaway over on Because Shanna Said So!

And last but not least, Eep is finally starting to adjust to preschool. I am still the last parent to leave in the morning and the first to pick up but he is doing much better. I even got to spend a little time at the library this week!

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! xo

OOTD: Hope

Swirl Boutique

Phillip Lim for Target

Stella & Dot Breat Cancer Awareness

Swirl Boutique Encinitas

Stella & Dot HOPE Necklace

I’m normally not a huge fan of cropped pants on myself…although you would never know it (see here & here). But this printed cropped jumpsuit was totally calling my name. It reminded me a bit of the printed romper that started my love affair with Swirl Boutique (last seen here). I just love the autumnal colors too!

P.S. As I’m sure most of you know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Stella & Dot is donating 100% of their net proceeds on all sales from their breast cancer awareness boutique to the Noreen Fraser Foundation for the whole month of October. I am wearing the Stella & Dot “HOPE” necklace in today’s post. When I first saw it online, I thought the letters would be much bigger than they are but they’re actually quite dainty. I even had not one but TWO Stella & Dot reps stop me while I was at the pumpkin patch last week and comment on how pretty it was on. The letters are silver, gold & rose gold plated so can be paired with any of your daily jewelry. Shop the full collection here.
