Arrowhead Sparkling Water

I’ve been trying to make more of an effort to take some time each day to really be IN THE MOMENT. With my seemingly never-ending list of things to get done, preparing for my son to start preschool (OMG) and keeping up my blog schedule…most of the time I am running around on autopilot.

So today I’ve teamed up with Arrowhead® Brand Sparkling Mountain Spring Water to share my “Feel Good Moments” or how I take a few minutes each day to refresh & recharge. If you follow me on instagram, you probably know by now that our gazebo has become our little retreat. It is high up on a hill and it is SO relaxing to just go up there and take in the view. It’s the perfect place to catch up on my magazines, do a little DIY manicure and treat myself with a lime flavored Arrowhead® Brand Sparkling Mountain Spring Water. With just three natural ingredients—spring water, natural fruit essence and bubbles…it is the perfect alternative to soda (no sugar or calories either)!

How do you recharge and take a little time for you to get through your busiest days? Head over to the Arrowhead® Brand Sparkling Mountain Spring Water Facebook page every #HumpDay to have a feel good moment and share your own.

Thanks to Arrowhead®, Deer Park®, Ice Mountain®, Ozarka®, Poland Spring®, Zephyrhills® Brands Sparkling Natural Spring Waters for sponsoring today’s discussion.

spider

OMG you guys…so I was snapping away taking my pics & reviewing them on the live view screen when I noticed a black spot on my skirt. And then it was on my shirt. And then, I realized it was a SPIDER crawling around on me while I was taking my pics. Luckily my mom had just stopped by and found him crawling on my back. OK, so I know he’s not THAT big. But STILL. Not cool spider, not cool.

cut out dress

When I first saw this dress, I thought it would be perfect for date night. I don’t really wear fitted dresses all that often and the side cut-outs were small enough that I thought they wouldn’t bother me. Um, NO. I had to sit up straight the whole night and suck my belly in. Which I guess is good on one hand but also NOT comfortable. Sorry hubby, I know you liked it but I think I am going to stick to dresses that l don’t have to worry about my spanx showing either. LOL. It’s too bad because I really do think it’s pretty. =(

bliss exglowsion

I am always a little nervous to give a new face moisturizer a try because I am worried I will break out. But let me tell you…bliss triple oxygen ex-‘glow’-sion is AMAZING. Not only is the packaging pretty (I’m a sucker for pretty packaging), but it has a nice light scent & left my skin looking & feeling SUPER soft. The best way I can describe it is “whipped” lotion! It is very light & airy (hence the triple oxygen…lol) but still super moisturizing. It absorbed wonderfully and did not interfere with my makeup routine at all. Two thumbs up. =)

A little more info about the product ($64 for 1.7 oz jar):

What it is: A vitabead-infused moisture cream with oxygen and micro-algae for an instant burst of youthful radiance.

What it is formulated to do: ‘Glow’ to extremes with the only vitabead-infused moisture cream with oxygen and micro-algae for an immediate burst of youthful radiance. Its formula provides an explosion of antioxidant vitamin E on contact as vitamin C and three forms of oxygen help deliver beautiful, younger-looking skin.

Disclosure: I received this product gratis for reviewing purposes. As always, all opinions are my own.

OOTD: Twirl

anthropologie skirt

h&m ruffle sleeve top

anthropologie flounce skirt

justfab clutch

justfab heels

I have this same shirt in white and love it so when I saw it in this army green color I HAD to have it! And I’ve wanted a drop-waist/flounce skirt like this forever but every one I tried was TOO flared or just didn’t look right on. This skirt is made of a really thick material so it has movement…but even more exciting…it has POCKETS. I’m not sure when I became such a big fan of pockets but they make this skirt even more fun to twirl in. Yes, I am *almost* 40 and I still love a good twirl skirt. =) Happy Friday friends!
