It has been hot & muggy lately so as much as I want to wear all of the cute Fall clothes that are out right now, I would be a hot mess in about 5 minutes. This maxi dress is the perfect transitional piece to keep me comfy & cool. I fell in love with the print and then when it arrived, I loved it even more in person! And as soon as I put it on my son ran up and said “CUPCAKES mama”! So now this dress will forever be known as the “cupcake dress”. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…that kid loves sweets just like his mama!

If you’re not sure about camouflage, you can still wear the military trend with these “military inspired” pieces above. I’m in love with detail on the back of these shorts and am seriously considering adding another pair of slouchy pants to my wardrobe! Cute & comfy….yes, please!

I, on the other hand, have the opposite problem. I can’t stop buying camo pieces!!! I already have these camo pants  (see how I wore them here) and a similar jacket (see here). I’m totally loving the tough & sweet juxtaposition in both of these looks and am already thinking of new ways to wear my camo!

I have a VERY small head/face. In fact, when I recently went in for an eye exam, they tried to convince me that I should wear kid glasses! Do they not know that I wear OVERSIZE glasses? I mean, these pretty much take up half of my face….which is great for me…less sun=less wrinkles! But the best part is that they are less than $20! In fact, all of the sunglasses at Sunglass Warehouse are $20 or less! They just re-launched their site…same store but with a fun new retro look. I picked this dress up on my last trip to the LOFT. It photographed orange but it’s actually a vibrant red color in person. The high neckline just begs for layered statement necklaces if you ask me! I’m also looking forward to pairing it with a blazer & booties come Fall. I can’t believe it’s just around the corner!

This blouse has become a staple in my closet. I’ve mentioned it before but I have it in FOUR colors. But this watercolor print is my fave. It’s so bright & cheery. I’m kind of wishing I would have bought these heels in more colors too. They’re surprisingly comfortable for a 4″ heel. Hmmmm…mint green is/are pretty cute. Or should I wait for more autumnal colors to come out? Decisions….decisions.
