Prabal Gurung for Target Floral Shorts

Tailor & Stylist

I packed this easy breezy outfit to wear in Palm Springs this weekend. Of course, I never ended up wearing the cute orange heels. In fact, we ended up being barefoot or in flip flops for most of the weekend since we spent 99% of our time at the pool. I’m not sure who enjoyed innertube-ing on the lazy river more…me or eep*.

What came in the July Glossybox

The July Glossybox was inspired by the deep blue sea and was filled with products to keep you looking gorgeous all summer long. My fave products this month were the nail polish and the lip balm but read on to find out my thoughts on the rest!

Nicka K New York ABSOLUTE! Make-up Cleansing Tissues: Water based with natural extracts, ABSOLUTE! Make up Cleansing Tissues gently and effectively removes all make up even waterproof mascaras and eyeliners while moisturizing and refreshing your skin. My thoughts: I brought these with me to Palm Springs this weekend and they were perfect for removing my makeup after splashing around in the pool all day!

Figs & Rouge Figs & Rouge, Cherry Blossom, Coco Rose & Mocha Orange Lip Balms: 100% Natural Tinted Lip balms in Soft Cherry, Blush Pink & Shimmer shades. My thoughts: I am a total sucker for pretty packaging so I loved this lip balm before I even tried it! But I do like the light cherry scent too!

Brazilian Blowout Acai Deep Conditioning Masque: The Brazilian Blowout Acai Aftercare product line was developed to extend the life of the Brazilian Blowout treatment. The Acai Deep Conditioning Masque is a creamy, rich, intense conditioning masque that drenches the hair by coating each hair strand with exclusive, nutritive proteins to eliminate frizz, promote shine, and guarantee the longest-lasting smoothing results. My thoughts: I find this one to be a little strange since most of us probably haven’t had a Brazilian Blowout treatment? But I can only imagine it would be very smoothing. One of my besties has had a Brazilian blowout so I think I am going to give her this sample since I know she’ll love it!

Nails Inc. Baker Street Nail Polish: One of nails inc’s best selling nail polish shades. Vibrant cobalt blue for traffic stopping nails. Nails inc polishes are professionally formulated for a long lasting, super glossy, flawless finish. My thoughts: I don’t think I have a Nails Inc. polish yet so am excited to give it a try! The color is gorgeous in the bottle!!!

Dr. Brandt BB Matte with signature Shinerase light to medium: This all-in-one oil-free beauty balm provides instant mattifying coverage, oil-control and SPF 30 protection, giving your skin an instant makeover. My thoughts: The color was off for me but I did like the matted look. Oil control + SPF is always good if you ask me!

Bulgari Eau Parfumée au thé Blanc Shampoo & Shower Gel: Eau Parfumée au thé Blanc is a generous and elegant expression of personal indulgence. Relaxing and calming, Eau Parfumée au thé Blanc reflects the precious nature of white tea, offering an intimate and luxurious expression of sensory pleasure. SHAMPOO & SHOWER GEL Delicate perfumed Eau Parfumée au thé Blanc shampoo and shower gel whose gentle cleansing action makes it perfect for daily use. Dermatologist tested. My thoughts: Gave it to my mom. Not a big fan of the scent and am very particular about what shampoos I use for my color treated hair. I can’t imagine a scented shampoo/shower gel combo being moisturizing for some reason?

Shop H&M Online

As most of you probably know by now, you can FINALLY shop H&M ONLINE!!!! I am lucky in that I have TWO of them within 10 miles of my house. BUT, I am one of those people that actually prefers to shop online. Crazy, I know. Although I did read that you won’t be able to return online purchases at retail stores so that kinda sucks but still won’t stop me from shopping online. Speaking of shopping…I get a little depressed this time of year when all of the stores transition to Fall clothes. Summer is my FAVORITE time of year. I couldn’t believe that I came home with this SWEATER on my last trip to H&M.

P.S. Not really related but sort of…I am SO sad Fashion Star was cancelled. Although I stopped watching when I found out H&M was no longer on the show anyway. =(

When I love something, I wear it NON-STOP. Case in point…this necklace and my favorite tee. I mean, seriously…if you look close enough you can see that this tee has pills all over it. And I have 768768764 grey tees but I still hold on to this one. I am still on the fence about the cropped jeans though. They felt GREAT on in the fitting room but now seeing these pics, I’m still not sure cropped pants are flattering on me. I sure do keep trying though, don’t I? LOL.

P.S. I hope this post is making sense. I am writing with one eye closed. SO tired. AGAIN. zzzzzz

P.S.S. Is it REALLY August 1st? Are you kidding me?

London Times LBD

To be completely honest…I am not usually a big fan of earrings on myself. I love them on everyone else, but for some reason, they are the one accessory that I tend to neglect. But I knew that I wanted to wear an amazing pair of earrings with my new LBD. And these were just the pair I needed. I am also obsessed with the detailing on the back of this dress. I should have worn my hair up so you could see both the earrings and dress better but I feel cuter with my hair down for date night!
