Target Dress

This dress is from the first Target Collab that I ever shopped. I was SO excited when they had one at my local store in my size. Although, seeing these pics now…it really looks much better on with a belt. But I love how summer-y it looks with my new bag!

5 products i can't live without

Benefit Stay Don’t Stray: One of my girlfriends gave me this in a little Benefit gift set and I fell in LOVE. I swear it helps with my under eye creases and makes my concealer stick. I just ordered the full size product!

Paula Dorf Perfect Illusion for Lips: Kimberly introduced me to this fab lip liner/treatment. It goes on clear and is like a lip primer that fills in little lip wrinkles and helps bleeding/feathering significantly. BUT…I do not consider it a “lip plumper” as it states on their website. It is super hard to find so I have a feeling it will be or is discontinued. =(

Loreal Voluminous Mascara: I have had TONS of people ask me what mascara I use. I think this is HANDS DOWN the best mascara out there. I’ve used it for years.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion: Ever since I switched to Dove soap, I have had WAY less break outs. But for those pesky hormonal cyst like zits I get on occasion, this is the only stuff that works. I’ve recommended it to several of my best girlfriends and they love it too.

Youngblood Hi Definition Mineral Powder: When I first tried this, I wasn’t sure if I loved it or not. But now I wear it DAILY. I use a BB cream, then I apply this powder on my chin/nose/forehead and finish with my regular foundation powder. I LOVE the mattifying effect and it really helps control my shine.

Printed Romper

How to wear a romper

Andreas Hotel Palm Springs

We went to Palm Springs again last weekend and stayed at one of our fave little hotels, Alcazar. I personally love it because it’s right on the strip, one of my fave breakfast joints “Cheeky’s” is on the property and best of all…they have bikes that you can check out and ride around town all day long.  We are probably the only people who go to Palm Springs in 110 degree temps and DON’T go to the pool but DO go on several mile bike rides. This romper was THE perfect outfit for cruising the strip. And it only cost $37. Best.Deal.EVER.

Outfit Details:
Poema Romper (Bought it at a local shop called Swirl in Encinitas)

Chippmunk

ASOS pom pom bag

ASOS River Island Maxi Dress

I was introduced to Chippmunk last month when a few of my fave blogger friends participated in an “Expert Shopper” style challenge. If you haven’t heard of Chippmunk yet, it is a fabulous new site (or as they call it “a savings search engine”) that allows you to shop the best deals at all of your favorite stores. All you have to do is choose your budget and then you can filter your coupons by department/category or store and hit search. My favorite thing about Chippmunk is that they are ON TOP of their coupon codes. There’s nothing worse than googling coupon codes only to find that they are invalid/expired. If you find them on this site, they are currently valid.

This month I (along with 6 other bloggers) am participating in the “Expert Shopper” challenge and was asked to put together a “Summer Fun Steal” look using coupons from Chippmunk. I immediately searched one of my FAVE shops (ASOS) and found a 20% off coupon (SCORE!) and picked up the following pieces:

Outfit Details:
ASOS River Island Maxi Dress
ASOS Pom Pom Duffle Bag
ASOS Gold Stacked Rings

Now it’s YOUR turn for a little “Summer Fun Steal” challenge. Chippmunk is giving away $700 in gift cards! Here’s how to win:

Share a photo showcasing your great deal and you could be one of 5 winners of a $100 gift card to the Chippmunk store of your choice! Upload your “steal” via the Chippmunk website (here) or share on Instagram or Twitter with hashtags #ChippmunkExpertShopper and #SummerFun (please include both so they can find you!).

OR:

Win $50 for pinning any of your favorite steals to Pinterest with the hashtag #SummerFun. You have four chances to win by repinning!

Please visit Chippmunk for full contest details & rules. And good luck! I can’t wait to see what deals you share!

*Disclaimer: I was provided a $150 stipend to purchase this outfit c/o Chippmunk.

Vix Flip Flops

LAmade Crochet Neck Dress

Alcazar Palm Springs Art

Believe it or not, a question I get asked a lot is if I ever wear things more than once. And the answer is…of course!!! I tend to find something I like and then wear it REPEATEDLY and then shove it in the closet and forget about it for 6 months. And I don’t blog outfits if I wear them back to back because…really do you want to see when I wear pretty much the exact same outfit two days in a row? =) But this dress happens to be one that I wear non-stop (last seen on the blog here & I also wore it for my bday brunch).

Crochet Dress c/o LAmade (sold out but check out their new arrivals here)
Vix Flip Flops (a bday gift from my friend Taryn-almost identical available here)
