How to Wear Crop Tops

I vaguely remember mentioning on the blog last year that I kind of wanted to give a crop top a try. I am not talking belly button baring crop tops…I mean just a sliver of skin like in the pics above. Even the one on the right is a bit much but if I had that exact outfit, you can bet that I would wear it! I also LOVE how Blair wore the cropped top trend (seen here). As much as I love the fitted little crop tops, I think I’d be much more likely to give it a try with a boxier top…

ASOS Matching Short Suit

Stella & Dot Windor Tassel Necklace

I now have TWO matching print short suits and have yet to wear either of them as a matching set. But I’m determined to do it soon. Another little goal of mine it to bring back my silver jewelry. I have been on a gold kick for at least ten years now (although my wedding ring is white gold so go figure) so adding this mixed metal tassel necklace is one of my new faves because I can wear it with both!

Crocs Summer Styles 2013

As promised…here are a few more pics from the Crocs party this weekend! From left to right we are wearing the Crocs Kadee Flats, Cobbler Patent Slides, Really Sexi Sandals, Walu Canvas Loafers, A Leigh Leather Wedges, Really Sexi Sandals, A Leigh Linen Wedges and the A Leigh Mini Wedge.

Crocs Summer Style Party

Love these girls…our kiddos are pretty much the exact same age and are inseparable.

Striped Anthropologie Dress

Me & my bestie Jennifer modeling our Crocs! I was cracking up because it felt like we were posing for prom pics. LOL!

Crocs Really Sexi Sandals

I bought this anthropologie dress last year and have only worn it once. I didn’t realize until after the party was over that I didn’t accessorize AT ALL. #bloggerfail

Crocs A Leigh Wedges

Jennifer was the last to leave so I kind of forced her to do a photo sesh with me! =) It was SUCH a nice day! And BIG thanks to Crocs for sponsoring this fabulous day with friends & family!

I’m sure most of you know by now that I am a Crocs brand ambassador. One of my favorite things about being a Crocstyle Insider is that I get to introduce my friends & family to all of the new styles. This past weekend I invited all of my girlfriends over and sent them home with not only a pair of Crocs for themselves but also a pair for a member of their family!

crocs iphone cover

I went with a yellow theme after falling in love with these floral arrangements on Pinterest. I’m SO not a DIY’er but these were so easy to make and were just so cheery! And don’t even get me started on how cute that Crocs iphone cover is!?!?

Seaside Market Cardiff Catering

I decided to have the food catered by Seaside Market in Cardiff after enjoying it recently at a friends party. I had forgotten how good their food was. And they even delivered it for me so I didn’t have to stress and go pick it up the day of the party. If you are local, I HIGHLY recommend them!

Crocs Summer Party Details

More decoration from the party. I had old & new friends there so I threw these little conversation starters on each table for fun. And of course I had to get the mason jar cups to match my floral arrangements!

Crocs Santa Cruz Loafers Childrens

Sweet Jake modeling his new Santa Cruz loafers (left) and Landon came over stylin’ in his (right)! Look at those blondies with big blue eyes!!! Available here.

Crocs A Leigh Mini Wedge

My mom was dressed & ready for summer with her bright colors and the Crocs A-Leigh mini wedges! These are SO comfy. I got myself a pair in black! Get yours here.

Crocs Bradyn Golf Shoe

Melissa’s husband loved his new Crocs Bradyn Golf Shoes so much that she sent me this pic of him all ready for his next golf game! My husband REAAALLLLYYYY wanted these. And then I reminded him that he doesn’t even play golf. =) Available here on sale!

Crocs Really Sexi Sandal

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned it before (if not a few times) that me and my besties all have the same friendship tattoo. We all got it together years ago. It is my only tattoo that I don’t regret. I have two others I’d like to get removed if it weren’t so painful. =) Of course we had to model them together. Top pic from left to right: Crocs Really Sexi Sandals, Crocs Cobbler Patent Slide, Crocs Leather A-Leigh wedges.

Crocs Walu Canvas Loafers

I surprised my husband with these Walu Canvas Loafers (left) because I knew he would have never chosen these colors. But he ended up really liking them (of course)! My friend Andrea’s son chose the Santa Cruz Loafers in the same grey/green combo (right). I thought they looked similar so now I want to get eep* a pair so he can match daddy!

Lego Crocs

And of course, I had to get eep* a new pair of Lego Crocs! Legoland is just 20 minutes away from our house so we go ALL.THE.TIME. And every time people stop us to ask if we bought them at Legoland. Plus, what kiddo doesn’t LOVE Lego’s? Available here.

Crocs Backpack

Last but not least, these Crocs foldable backpacks were a HIT with the kids. Stay tuned for part two tomorrow so you can see what I wore! You can also check out last years party post here. And if you want to see even more Crocs, you can view all of my Crocstyle Insider videos here!

*eep is my son’s nickname.

The new DO!

Bombshell Hair Salon in Encinitas

If you follow me on instagram/twitter, you may have already seen my new hair! I went a little longer than I had originally planned on because I still want to be able to curl my hair but now that I have…I’m seriously considering going even shorter! The front of my hair has always been super thin and just never grows like the rest of my hair. I even tried getting extensions on just the sides so the length would match the back of my hair but it drove me BANANA’s to not be able to brush my hair like normal, etc. Although I really liked how they looked. But for now, I am loving the change. =)
