I recently got rid of more than half of the clothes in my closet. My end goal is to ONLY have items in my closet that I would be happy to wear (or feel cute in). I was holding on to SO many things that I knew I would never really wear again. And every time I would step in either of my closets, I still felt like I had nothing to wear. So now even though I have less, I actually feel like I have more because I can actually see what is in my closet! Does that make sense? I’m still in the process of going through all of my shoes but…baby steps. =) All of the items I’m wearing have been hiding in my closet so unfortunately most of them are sold out. But maybe you’ll be inspired to clear out your closet too!?!

I immediately fell in love with the flower patch sweatshirt and knew it HAD to be mine. What’s better than a grey sweatshirt? I grey sweatshirt with patches on it…that’s what! It takes a basic look to the next level without even trying. And can we talk about this velvet quilted mini backpack for a minute? It is the most beautiful burgundy color…which I think is THE COLOR of the season but it also comes in a classic black.

Next up is this Star Hoodie. The hoodie is making a comeback my friends. It’s not just for the kid in E.T. anymore. I’ve been seeing them layered underneath blazers and I have to admit, I’m loving that look! And this one would be perfect because it isn’t too oversized.

Any guesses on what the post title is from? I barely remember the movie to be honest so why I remember that line, I have no idea. But this blouse is called the “Fetching Blouse” from cabi’s most recent collection so it seemed fitting! It didn’t photograph true to color…in real life it is the most beautiful shade of forest green (they call it Spruce). And I love the cold shoulder detailing. It would be perfect for any upcoming holiday parties! Speaking of, can you believe how fast this year has flown by?!?! Me either.
