Thank you Curves® International for sponsoring this post. Ready to get #CurvesStrong?

I was recently invited by a bloggy friend of mine to attend a workout at Curves® called “No Makeup, No Mirrors and No Men”! Just a bunch of girlfriends cheering each other on while getting a total body workout in only 30 minutes? Yes, please! As soon as I walked into the facility, I immediately felt at ease knowing that we were all in this together. After a brief introduction from the in-house coaches/trainers, we each got on a machine and rotated to the next every 30 seconds for two rounds. There is a continuous reminder on loop so you don’t have to track your time on each machine. Now I consider myself a fairly fit person (I try to get to the gym a minimum of three days a week), but these machines were a lot harder than they look! We were all out of breath by the end and smiling from ear to ear about how much fun it was. Sometimes as moms, we forget that we need to make time for ourselves and Curves gets that. Since you don’t have to worry about class start times, you can literally walk in at any time of the day (during business hours obvi) and get your workout in when it works for you!

“A year from now, you’ll wish you had started today!” is one of my favorite quotes. Because it is SO true! Joining a gym can be intimidating…but it doesn’t have to be. Stop by Curves.com and find a location near you!

Stripes are always a good idea in my book and this sweater by cabi is one of my new faves! Don’t you just love finding pieces that will never go out of style? I wear cabi so often in my everyday life that I’ve now got friends calling me from cabi parties and asking me which pieces they should get! This striped sweater is one of those items. It’s lightweight and so perfect for layering!

Hello FALL

Ahhh, it’s that lovely time of year again (in CA) when you put on a sweater in the morning and then you’re sweating by noon. We California girls know this feeling all too well! Everyone else seems to be enjoying layering and Fall fashion and we are over here like…YAY, swimsuit season just arrived! LOL.  Thankfully this faux fur vest has me feeling the Fall vibe. I shared this vest & these pants on IG stories and I stand by my claim that these pants ARE THE MOST FLATTERING pants ever. Something about the waist & pocket placement just works so well. Even my hubby unsolicited commented that he really liked them. And this vest is just stunning in person. The colors almost take on the colors of anything you put it next to. So far it looks amazing with black, olive, white, navy, grey & even regular denim! Such a great statement piece for Fall!

Outfit Details: Frosty Vest c/o cabi, Tank c/o cabi (previous collection), The Quest Trousers c/o cabi, Justfab Heels (old), Jewels with a Purpose Bracelets, Earrings c/o Baublebar, Deux Lux Fringe Clutch (SO old)

If there’s one thing I love, it’s wearing a swimsuit on the blog for the whole internet to see. NOT! But when you find a swimsuit brand that fits your mom lifestyle…you can’t help but share with others! Today I’d like to introduce you to Beach House swimwear. All of their swimwear is sold as separates so you can choose the style of both top and bottom that best fits your shape and lifestyle. I almost always reach for a one piece these days but I decided to give the tankini a try and I think I may be hooked! I chose this ruffled striped style (love anything nautical inspired!) and not only is it totally flattering on, but I really loved the fact that I never once had to think about sucking my tummy in! I honestly think this might be the most comfortable swimsuit I’ve ever worn. As for the bottoms, I went with the high-waisted side tie bikini bottoms for both of my suits. The coverage is perfect for those days I am chasing after my six year old.

My second choice was this colorblocked bikini that comes with a matching racerback tank with side ruching. I love how sporty they look together! I may even wear the tank to the gym…it’s that cute. Oh, and I don’t know about you guys but I still wear boardshorts when I take my son to waterparks but I just discovered swim SKORTS! Yes, please…sign me up!

Also, for anyone who might be wondering about sizing…for reference I am 5’6 and 120 lbs and went with a size 8 in both tops and bottoms. I usually wear a size 2 in dresses, size 27 in jeans (I have hips) and a medium in swimsuits.

If you love these swimsuits as much as I do, Beach House has generously offered my readers 20% off your purchase with code JENN20 at checkout!

A HUGE thank you to Beach House swim for kindly sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

Fall Florals

I bought this jumpsuit late last year for an event and then ended up not wearing it. I really love the feminine ruffle straps and tie back but I don’t love having to suck in my gut the whole time I wear it. LOL. Just keepin’ it real y’all. Anywho…today was back to school and my little guy started first grade. It is literally shocking that I started this blog when he was only a few months old and now he is almost 7 years old and in FIRST GRADE. The day went off without a hitch and I am SO grateful that he loves school. It makes it so much easier as a parent knowing that he is having fun.

P.S. My jumpsuit is by Zara and is sold out so I’ve linked to a few similar options below (click the image to be redirected):
