I am not much of a catalog shopper, so it’s kind of crazy how many catalogs I receive each day. But there is one catalog I actually look forward to and that is by UncommonGoods! I literally scour it from front to back because there are so many unique gifts to be found for everyone on your list. I’ve even been known to text gift ideas to friends/family when I know I’ve come across something they would like! My cousin is an avid hiker and every weekend I enjoy all of his summit Instagram posts. So I text his wife this National Parks explorer map so he could keep track of all of the National Parks he’s checked off the list! Is that not the cutest gift idea ever? Sorry, had to toot my own horn on that one.

But before I go any further, don’t you worry….you can also shop UncommonGoods online at uncommongoods.com! Gone are the days of having to visit craft/street fairs to find unique gifts. You can now find creative gift ideas that are made by artists and artisans alike all in one place. I absolutely love that you can click on most items and read the backstory of each item from the makers themselves. With wedding season upon us, I thought I would also share a gift guide with something for everyone in the wedding party. Whether it be a unique gift ideas for bridesmaids, creative gifts for groomsmen or a sentimental personalized bridal shower gift. Imagine how cute a group photo would be with all of the bridesmaids holding heart umbrellas! Check out more of my favorites below:

Date Night Bucket List: With this bucket list kit just for couples, you’ll never find yourself asking “what should we do for date night?” Printed on a cute collection of birch wood sticks, the date night-invigorating prompts run the gamut from romantic reverie (pack blankets and pillows and go stargazing someplace secluded) to intellectual stimulation (attend a lecture at a local museum or university). Once you’ve shared each experience, note the date on the back of the stick with the official bucket list pencil (provided).

Six Pack of Beer Soap: If you’ve ever dreamed of bathing in beer, now you can. Well, we’re not suggesting filling your bathtub with lag…this set of six, handmade soaps is made with real beer, plus a tempting array of botanicals, oils, and fragrances. From chocolate stout to pumpkin ale, each variety is made from scratch with pure, traditional ingredients (with a hoppy twist). Applied topically, beer has anti-inflamatory qualities, and lends a luxurious lather to these gentle soaps. The cleverly-designed labels of this “six pack” offer nods to popular brands of beer.

Crimson Heart Umbrella: Stand out in a crowd of black trench coats and add a little love to a rain shower with this delightful umbrella. Featuring a bright red canopy and charming heart silhouette, this ergonomic design offers a strong yet lightweight 16 spoke fiberglass frame, which is totally wind-proof. It’s the perfect companion for puddle jumping and downpour dancing with your Valentine or anytime.

Flavor Infuser Water Bottle: Would you like your water with lemon? How about strawberry, orange, blueberry, or watermelon? Anyone can be a mixologist extraordinaire with this flavor-infusing water bottle. Treat yourself to a refreshing, midday pick-me-up of lemon and mint, or a splash of summertime with strawberries and blueberries. This sleek, glass bottle also cuts the environment a break, reducing our dependence on plastic water bottles.

Personalized Hearts Four-Across Game: The couple who plays together stays together. Challenge your other half to some lighthearted competition with Kasey and Justin Pearson’s lovingly crafted four-across game. They carve their handsome, heirloom-quality activity set from birch wood. Amid a field of incised hearts, up to four lines (seven characters each) can be personalized with your names, anniversary date, or a sweet message to surprise the one you adore.

My Cinema Lightbox: Turn weddings, birthdays, and clever turns of phrase into feature film-worthy displays with this retro light box. Back-lit like a real marquee, this lightweight, battery-operated design offers three slotted lines to accommodate the included letters and symbols. Set up the portable piece at your wedding reception’s welcome table, in front of the birthday cake, or in your little one’s bedroom and let the creative messaging begin!

Moscow Mule Carry-On Cocktail Kit: Pilot your own takeoff with this personal cocktail kit made for a couple of jetsetters. The kit will sail through security and supply you with all you need to make two craft cocktails during your flight: small-batch ginger syrup, a stainless steel jigger, linen cocktail napkin, mini bar spoon, and recipe card. Just order a mini bottle of vodka and your mules will be kicking in a jiffy. The flight-themed tin adds a dash of first-class flair to the affair.

I’ve been shopping J.O.A. for years on my favorite online boutiques so I was SUPER excited when I walked into my local Target and saw that they now have a line called J by J.O.A. available exclusively at Target! The prints are all darling and I pretty much fell in love with the whole collection! I was immediately drawn to the print/color of this top so even though it is cropped, I was determined to make it work for me! I’ve had these high-waisted shorts for years and they paired with it perfectly. Can you say meant to be?! There were also matching cropped wide leg pants that matched this top and you know I LOVE me a matchy matchy outfit. But over the years, I’ve learned that cropped pants are not the most flattering on me so I had to pass on them. Which makes me sad because there are SO many cute cropped jumpsuits out right now…including the one I linked below. Sadly my top isn’t available online but definitely check your local store!

Stripes AND off the shoulder? Yes, please! This adorable blouse is also from cabi’s newest collection and may be my favorite piece! Easily dressed up or worn casually as I’ve done here…it is the perfect addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe! I love that it’s not too “billowy”. Speaking of billowy…these clouds/grey skies we’ve been having can go ahead and take a hike already. Tomorrow is my birthday and I’m gonna need a little bit o’ sunshine. 42 years young. =)

Cha Cha Cha

Hope you all had a fun (and safe!) Cinco de Mayo! We stayed home and I legit considered ordering UBER EATS and having them bring me tacos & burritos! =) I’ve never used the service but I’ve got to tell you that one of the things I miss most about living in a big city is having food delivered.  Although it seems a little strange to have someone who doesn’t work for the restaurant deliver it?!? Has anyone used the service? I’d love to hear about your experience. BTW…all of this has nothing to do with my look today. I am wearing the Cha Cha dress from cabi’s new arrival Coastal Cafe Collection. And boy does it make me feel like dancing the cha cha! This is such an easy breezy dress just begging to go on all of your Summer vacations with you.

Am I the last person on the planet to hear about Lucky Brand stores?!?! I guess I had heard of the brand but never realized they had their own retail stores?!? I happened to stop in on a recent trip to the mall with my mom and boy was she sorry we did. Because I proceeded to try on clothes for the next half hour while we were running late for another errand. Although she did get to reminisce about her younger years since everything was SO boho 70’s (in her words). We were just on our way out when I saw this dress on display on the mannequin in the window. And then I saw a white denim mini skirt (on my must-have list for Summer), this off the shoulder dress and a matching top! I ended up coming home with the skirt and the white embroidered off the shoulder top. If you haven’t tried Lucky Brand clothing, I would say the fit is very true to size (not jr sizing). I went with a 27 in the skirt and a small in the top. Check out more of my favorites below (click on any image to be redirected for more info or to purchase).
