I noticed over on my Instagram & Facebook pages that my friends/followers seem to really like my “Dressing Room Diaries” posts. If I’m ever unsure on an outfit, I like to snap a pic in the dressing room and get my friends and/or hubby’s opinion. Or if I can’t stop obsessing about it myself, then I know it’s a must have. I tried this dress on on a whim and was in a rush so didn’t pull the trigger but I’m loving the larger “buffalo check” gingham prints this season! I linked a few of my faves below so just click on any image to be redirected for details and/or to purchase!

P.S. If this is something you’d like to see more of, please do let me know in the comments! Or on social media.

I don’t know what’s happened to me lately, but I’ve been on a remix-my-closet kick. Which is TOTALLY a good thing. But I don’t know how someone who has so many clothes still feels like they have nothing to wear. Plus I have this horrible habit of only feeling cute when I’m wearing something new. I recently started my closet cleanse with my sock/underwear drawer purge but I’m still working on clearing out my closet(s). BTW…in case you haven’t heard, I am trying something new and am offering “Mystery Boxes” on Poshmark. Each box will contain 5-6 items for only $40 (valued at over $150+). It really is an unbelievable deal especially since 90% of my clothes have been worn once and/or are in excellent condition. So help a sister out would ya….and shop my closet!

I’ve worn my hair parted down the middle my entire life. I usually throw some beachy waves in my hair but that is the extent of my hair styling. I mean, if I even move my part off to the side the slightest bit, I swear I can FEEL the hairs out of place. A little over two years ago, I tried tape-in hair extensions while I was trying to grow out my hair (check out my before/after here).  I wore them for about 6 weeks but was able to keep the hair in case I decided to put them back in. Lucky for me, the hair color still matched mine perfectly so on my last hair appointment I had my hairdresser put them back in! They are only a few inches longer than my natural hair but the fullness they add is my favorite part. The longer my hair gets, the thinner it gets…especially in the front, so these extensions are the perfect solution! And an added bonus…I can finally do a half topknot without looking like I only have three hairs on my head! Although I still kinda think I look like pebbles (a la pebbles & bam bam)! =)

P.S. I thought I would share my before and after with you this time as well so you can see the difference. And if you are looking for a hairdresser, I HIGHLY recommend Alisa from Bombshell Salon in Encinitas. She is the only person I trust with my hair!

I wore this jumpsuit to KAABOO last year for day one. BTW, I still can’t believe I actually survived a three day music festival! I am already counting down the days until Summer and can’t wait to go again. Although this time it will most likely only be for one day. So far Weezer is the only band they’ve announced. I love the “Sweater Song” and all but that’s not enough for me to purchase my ticket just yet. =)

This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I received the included panties as compensation.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I made a list of 101 Things To Do In 1001 Days. One of those things I’ve been wanting to do was to organize my socks/panties drawer. I don’t know about you but my underwear drawer was full of everything from mismatched socks, ill fitting bras to underwear from who knows how long ago. I mean, I don’t even know why I would hold onto those random pairs…you know the ones…the ones that just don’t fit right so you never wear them?!? I swear, I had a few things in that drawer that I would reach for before laundry day and think to myself, “I hope this isn’t the day I get in an accident and get caught wearing these ol’ things”. LOL. Well, I finally took the plunge and decided to just THROW STUFF AWAY. To help me get motivated I took a trip to my local Kohl’s store and bought myself 15 new pairs of panties and like 30 new pairs of socks!

I’ve also been reading my new book about tidying up and one of the best tips I read was to organize things by category. I used to think that I could just sort one room at a time but I would ALWAYS end up spending hours just going through things and still not feel organized. Another thing this book stressed was/is the importance of only keeping things that you LOVE. And it’s so true!!! If you want your closet/room/home to be your happy space, it should be filled with only things that make you happy! It may seem like a panty/sock drawer is so insignificant but I can’t even tell you the joy it brings to know that ANY pair I reach for is going to be cute/comfy and as for socks…matching! It’s the little things my friends. Plus, you feel good knowing your panties are just as pretty as your outfit you’ve picked out for the day!

To give you an idea of what I was working with here, I had a whole drawer dedicated to unmatching socks. And then a separate drawer for my bras/panties, etc. I had also been cluttering up my nightstand with all of my sunglasses and my everyday jewelry. So I decided to clear a space in my closet to store my sunglasses, belts and jewelry.

I got rid of so much stuff that I could actually fit my socks & panties in ONE drawer! My belts were previously in a pile on the floor so I finally went through all of them too and arranged them so I can actually SEE them.

And last but not least… a closer look at all of the cute panties I picked up! I wanted to try a few different styles so I grabbed a couple of the Maidenform “cheeky hipsters“, a few Maidenform “lace thongs“, a couple of SO “seamless thongs” and also a few of the Candies “lace cheeky’s“. They were all on sale so what better time to try some “new-to-me” styles!

So what are you waiting for…head on over to your local Kohl’s store (or shop online) and treat yourself to something pretty! Oh, and be sure to use code INTIMATES10 for $10 off $40 from 3/3/17 – 3/16/17 (bonus buys 3/3/17 -3/12/17)!
