I received this tank in a goodie/swag bag from the Swirl Decade Bash I attended last month. I was familiar with Nicky + Stella‘s kids line but had no idea they also had stuff for #momlife! Anyways, I just had to share since I think it is so fitting for me…ha ha! Regardless of what my IG life looks like, IRL…I’m usually a hot mess. The pants and sports bra are both by Fabletics. I always seem to choose the Salar Capri’s since they are my favorite fit. And even though I NEVER wear just a sports bra, I like the way the matching top peeks out under the tank. I don’t know about you, but I am already starting to think about the upcoming holiday season and how full our calendar already seems to be! As soon as it’s November, I start stressing about how much I have to do before Thanksgiving and then somehow I am always scrambling at the last minute trying to get all of my Christmas shopping done. The good news is, I usually work better under pressure. LOL. But one of the fun parts is planning for all of the holiday parties this time of the year. We’ve got a couple events next weekend and this fit & flare dress from Banana Republic is my number one contender. I wore it here with bare legs but for the evening event, I am going to wear it with some opaque black tights and booties. I may also pull out my wool coat since it has been FREEZING here in the evenings. Ok, maybe not freezing but in the low fifties is basically freezing to this California girl. I also am keeping my accessories to a minimum because this bow mini crossbody bag with the gold chain strap is kind of the statement piece of my look. It is the perfect size for carrying all of my essentials and there is nothing better than being hands free at a party. Is it just me or does anyone else get a cramp in their arm from squeezing their clutch in one arm and a drink in the other? And then you always have to do the awkward hand shake while trying to hold both. #amirightladies

I took these outfit pics and *almost* decided not to share them because it drove me crazy that the color is off. My skintone and eyes are like the same color. It’s almost as if I added a filter of some sort to the images…only I didn’t. And then I remembered that I am my own worst critic and pics with a weird tint to them are better than no pics at all. Plus, I really do love this cargo/trench vest so I wanted to share it with you guys before it sells out. It’s from Target so totally affordable and such a great staple item for Fall/Winter.
