I’m not much of a fan of Fall weather, but I AM a fan of Fall fashion! It hasn’t quite cooled down enough to pull out our sweaters yet but I’ve been at least playing with Fall colors. And I did just cave and buy pumpkin spice coffee so ’tis definitely in the air! It even rained today but it was still 75+ degrees out so felt more like tropical weather to me!

I signed up for Influenster several years ago and to be completely honest, I had forgotten all about it. So I was a little surprised when I received an email out of the blue saying that I had been selected to try Formula X’s New System XCEL kit. I’ve tried a few gel-like mani’s over the past few years and so far nothing I’ve tried lasted any longer than my regular at-home manicures…that is…until now. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. As I am typing this, I am looking at my 6 day old manicure in SHOCK that I do not have a single chip yet. I barely even have wear and tear on the tips. The funny thing is that they sent me this coral/pink color (called TGIF) and I was totally not feeling the summer color (don’t get me wrong…it is gorge but I’m ready for darker hues for Fall!). So wouldn’t you know it has been the longest lasting manicure of all time?!? LOL. The only reason I had to remove my polish is because I had an event to attend and the color did not match my outfit. The other crazy thing is that I literally have over 50 bottles of nail polish and this is my first bottle of Formula X nail polish. Now I can’t wait to go pick up a few new colors for Fall. Oh, and before I forget…the top coat is extremely shiny and dries in record time. Also, the Delete All nail polish remover was super easy to use. I’ve never been a big fan of the sponge/dip removers but being able to do all five nails at once was so simple that I may never go back to a cotton ball and smearing polish around. The only con I could come up with was the decorative caps on the lids. I can’t stand when you have to pull the squares off to twist the lids off (I’m always afraid the bottle is going to drop and break when you pick it up). Also, the brushes could have been a little thicker…but now I’m just being nit-picky trying to come up with cons! Overall, I am super impressed and will definitely be buying a few of these sets to give as gifts to my nail polish loving friends!

I can still remember trying to fall asleep the night before my wedding. Not only was I BEYOND excited for the BIG day, but I also knew I had to try to sleep on my back to avoid having horrible chest wrinkles on the day of my wedding. I am a side sleeper. And not just a side sleeper…but a major toss-n-turn side sleeper. So I always wake up with deep wrinkles on my chest. And it ain’t pretty friends.

MY RESULTS:

These are my results after just one night of use. I took before/after photos in natural light right by the same window. The only difference is that one day was sunny and the next was overcast. There are no filters on these photos. I literally could not believe my eyes when I pulled off the SiO SkinPad. My chest wrinkles were almost non-existent! After several hours, I did notice the wrinkles creeping back but they DEFINITELY appeared much smoother. I am addicted and only wish that the Skinpad actually covered more of my chest so I could also treat the wrinkles right below my clavicle bones too. Heck, I’m tempted to try these pads under my eyes too…LOL (totally not recommended…but tempting!). I would absolutely recommend the 24-hour SiO System to anyone who wants to have a smooth chest for their wedding day or any day/night really that you simply want your chest to look as young as you feel! It works!
