As most of you know by now, I am OBSESSED with anti-aging products. So when I got the opportunity to try the new KORRES Castanea Arcadia Collection (which just launched on HSN on May 12th!), I jumped at the chance. As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t like to change my cleansing routine. BUT I am ALWAYS down to try anti-aging serums, creams and lotions. I may never actually find the fountain of youth but you can bet I am going to die trying…LOL.

So first things first..a little more about the collection. The KORRES Castanea Arcadia Wrinkle Rewind Collection is a line of anti-aging creams that fight wrinkles and visible signs of aging. Each cream uses liquid crystal emulsion for a light, velvety texture. The crystals contain a delivery system that helps to reflect light, mimicking skin’s natural moisture to deeply hydrate. Formulated with active ingredients like black oat extract and lecithin, the creams keep your skin moisturized for longer and strengthen skin’s structure, leaving your complexion looking youthful and resilient. I mean, who doesn’t want to look a little more youthful, am I right?!?!

KORRES Castanea Arcadia Day Cream (93.3% Natural Content) – $49.50: Made with a nourishing blend of moisturizing Abyssinia oil, apricot oil, olive oil esters, and sweet almond butter, the cream is rich in essential fatty acids, and vitamins A, C, and E for increased hydration.

KORRES Castanea Arcadia Night Cream (96.1% Natural Content) – $59.00: Jojoba Oil filled with D-panthenol gives this cream its long-lasting hydrating power, while soothing Chamomile Oil is rich with nurturing antioxidants. Apricot Oil delivers a host of beneficial vitamins, moisturizing deep into skin and improving skin’s texture.

KORRES Castanea Arcadia Eye Cream (96% Natural Content) – $46.00: Formulated with extracts of Rhodiola Rosea Root and Oats, this eye cream instantly lifts, smooths and firms the delicate skin around the eye, all while reducing sagging and brightening skin tone. I’ve been using the day cream, night cream and eye cream for just over a week now and have to say that I have been extremely impressed. Especially for the price points! You don’t even want to know how much I have paid for similar products that didn’t perform nearly as well. The night cream is SO hydrating and my skin looks amazing every morning. And the eye cream & day cream have worked seamlessly with my usual sunblock and makeup routine. The older I get, the more I realize how important keeping your skin hydrated is. I can honestly say that these products have done wonders for my skin and I am looking forward to seeing even more improvement over the next few weeks!

If you haven’t noticed, I got Invisalign a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty hard to tell in photos that I had the trays in until the dreaded “attachments”. I clearly did not research enough before I decided to get them because I had no idea what I was in for. To be honest, I may as well have just gone with traditional braces! I am one of the unlucky ones who pretty much had to get an attachment on almost every single tooth. Apparently they help rotate teeth. Oh, and to make matters worse…I also have to wear rubberbands full-time! I constantly feel the need to explain to everyone I come in contact with that I have Invisalign. Not only do I have a lisp, but the rubberbands stick to my cheeks and make it hard to talk. If you’ve had Invisalign, I’d love to hear about your experience! Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to get my teeth/bite fixed but I don’t think I was prepared for how time consuming taking them in/out and brushing 8776235876258 times a day would be! It’s going to be a LONG 18 months. LOL.

P.S. I wasn’t joking when I said I’ve been a little obsessed with “smocked” shorts as of late. These are from Entourage Clothing and were only $26. I am wearing a size small.

This year my birthday fell on a Tuesday so I had a rather uneventful day…lunch with my little guy and a quiet dinner at home with the whole fam. Then on Wednesday, my girlfriends took me out to a wine bar to celebrate. And last but not least, my husband took the cake when he surprised me on Saturday with a FULL ON treasure hunt with the final prize being tickets to see Billy Joel in concert. We had THE BEST day & night ever. I’m pretty sure he will never be able to top this one. If you’re a longtime reader, then you know how much I LOVE Palm Springs. It is my absolute favorite place for a weekend getaway. So I am not sure how it’s possible that last month was my first time ever taking pics in front of #thatpinkdoor. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, be sure and check out the hashtag on Instagram. It actually rained on and off the whole weekend we were there but just as we pulled up, the skies opened up and I hopped out of the car to quickly snap these pics. I was a little worried there was going to be a line of bloggers waiting to take their pics (like at the pink wall in LA) but there was no one around. I wonder if the people that own this home snap their own pics of each person posing in front of their door. What a great coffee book that would be!

Oh, and there is another house just a couple doors that has two lions in front that are decorated with different pool floaties each day. There were cupcake floaties the day we went. I’m not quite sure why I didn’t take pics there also. LOL.
