Just a quick post today to tell you guys that I’m skipping out on blogging today to spend time with family! I actually shared this pic on Instagram last week but thought I’d share it here too. I wore this workout outfit to my barre class last week and got a few questions about my workout pants (they’re c/o Fabletics). I’m wearing the “Salar Capri’s” (one of my fave styles) in “Seashell Stripe”. Mine have white stitching so not sure why they show black stitching on the website? A reader mentioned recently that she thought Fabletics had changed their sizing a few months back and I haven’t noticed a difference. I was curious if anyone else had noticed a change? My hair was driving me absolutely BONKERS today. I used to be able to wash my hair every other day but lately I just feel gross if I skip a day. But really…who has the time to blow dry and style their hair every day?!? I have weird half straight/half curly AND oily roots/dry ends hair that does NOT air dry well so I kind of have to style it. Plus my neck just feels dirty if I don’t wash my hair! WHY can’t I be one of those girls who can air dry or skip days?!?! I’ve tried a few dry shampoos but haven’t really found one that I really love. I keep hearing about Batiste Dry Shampoo (which also comes in a hint of color formula so maybe helps with roots)??? Have you tried it? I think I am going to order…I’ll let you know how it goes!

I bought this sheer maxi dress a few months ago with plans to wear it as a fun cover-up in Palm Springs. It ended up being WAY too hot to wear it so I brought it home and forgot about it. I don’t usually care for the look of sheer maxi’s with short skirts underneath but when I tried to pair this with a longer slip dress, it just didn’t look right.

P.S. So I saw Magic Mike XXL this weekend with one of my besties. We were cracking up on more than one occasion but OH EM GEE…when Joe M. (Sofia Vergara’s fiance) did his dance in the convenience store…highlight of the movie. Although Channing was the best dancer. And now I can’t get the song Pony out of my head. LOL!

Happy FRIDAY! I follow someone on snapchat who gets annoyed when people start their social media shares with “Happy Day of the Week”. Actually…it might just be “Happy Monday’s” that bug her but either way, I think of her now every time I see it. BTW, are you on snapchat yet? I know what you’re thinking…ANOTHER social media platform?!? Trust me…I thought the same thing. But now I am a total fan. Although I did struggle a bit to figure it out! Thankfully my husband’s business partner is my “snapchat guru” so I reach out to him every time I have a question. I should probably do a quick little cliff notes tutorial here on the blog for you guys! Not that I am a pro…but seriously the struggle is real (at least for my 40 yo self). I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. One of the hardest things for me when it comes to blogging is having something to say each day. Which is strange because as my friends could tell you…I always have something to say. It might have something to do with the fact that I am always rushing to get a post up before midnight and tonight is no different. It is 11:57 and I am SO ready for bed! Is it just me or are my blogging friends struggling during the summer months to keep up the blogging schedule???
